"Fake plans" delight us on our journey/"with all my ways you are familiar."/ His plan for me...

Yes!!  She is back close to family here in Kansas City!!!  She drove up to Lumen Christi/Light of Christ Monastery just minutes after her sister, Nancy, with her two youngest in tow came out of Adoration in their humble beautiful chapel!  Hallel had traveled 5 days to get to there and that makes it so much according to His plan to know!

I love it when we see the work of the Spirit in our day to day lives, and mom and I were sharing about how "fake plans" keep us happily hoping and looking ahead at what might be if it can work out.  Hallel will have her 33rd birthday on the 18th, and there is a fake plan out there that I might be able to spend time with Hallel, Nancy and her family... since she is only 7 hours away!  The thing about Fake plans is that I always know that the Lord is in control, and he will open or close doors to show me where I should be when...
Hallel with her spouse on the altar in KC... she had placed him there for me to have a Holy Hour and I was able to witness her deep powerful LOVE of Jesus!  I am so blessed to have Hallel's "Yes" to the life I considered for myself in my coming into The Church!  To my father I said; "I want to be a nun, so yes I want to become Catholic." when the 13 came into The Church!

 Hallel reading during Advent... she also is now the song leader and works with the girls in postulancy!  It looks like she will be busy here for this next year and we are most grateful for that.  We are overjoyed that little sister Joyce, who has been gone a year is back to spend some quality time with her family including 9 younger siblings and a baby sister, whom she has hardly seen!  What JOY!!!
Pat asked for this picture to be taken so I am thrilled to have it!  It speaks of how wonderful is our family of the Lamb sharing in our journey!

The Psalm today is 139... sharing the Truth that our lives are open to our God and He is in charge of all!!!
O LORD, you have probed me and you know me;
you know when I sit and when I stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My journeys and my rest you scrutinize,
with all my ways you are familiar.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
Truly you have formed my inmost being;
you knit me in my mother's womb.
I give you thanks that I am fearfully, wonderfully made;
wonderful are your works.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.
Probe me, O God, and know my heart;
try me, and know my thoughts;
See if my way is crooked,
and lead me in the way of old.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.

It was hard to pick just a part of it.... it is all so wonderfully true and amazing!  I missed going to confession before mass with my parents this morning, but I am realizing that is something I should pursue soon.  He knows it all anyways, so why try to hide our sins or hold back?  Lord, you know my heart and I want to be clean and have nothing between us!
Such a Holy Place!!!
Hallel and her oldest nephew, Simon, have birthdays just 2 days apart... it would be fun to think that they could be together once again... a person can have "fake plans" that make you smile thinking about that...
Showing Bernadette The Saint Agnes statue in Lumen Christi... this is a copy of a statue in Hiroshema, Japan where the whole church was demolished by the atomic bomb... she was found face down protecting the Lamb with only the loss of her hand!
St Agnes is the patron saint Hallel chose at her confirmation...
