"Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant your heart's requests." Psalm 37

Be still my heart!!! Crossing Lake Michigan on the Wisconsin side to reach a family wedding on Washington Island!  All I could do was gaze longingly at the deep clear water rushing by and breath in the cool fresh air and find my heart's delight being fulfilled in this few day get away with my farmer husband.  We are actually staying at a place which is a working farm/ranch and Pat is on his way to go look at the guys cattle, so... even on an island in my beloved Lake Michigan my most Cherished Cross has found someone to share his love of farming!
The tabernacle light in the dark church as I had my hour in front of the tabernacle praying for Father Denny... I cast a light using the office on my phone as I knew I would be joining Fr Denny in his morning prayer united in with all priests and deacons and many who do the office each morning.

I have many fond memories of praying with John over the last few years that he lived with us premarriage... whenever it worked out we would pray together, and now I am able to pray with my parents as I visit them often... they in their old worn prayer books and I on my phone.  I even set my dad straight a few weeks back as he was on the wrong week.  I am excited about this connection to Father Denny each time I pray for him on Fridays!
My view in the dark... It could be the start of something new of going along to pray in front of the tabernacle in the dark church while Pat is at This Man is you.  Mass after was led by Father Denny and that was super special way to end my hour of Seven Sisters prayer!

The LIGHT came and cast out the darkness and Jesus ministered to us in Word and Body and Blood!   he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness
and will manifest the motives of our hearts,
and then everyone will receive praise from God.  I Corinthians 4

Jesus, we trust in you.  Thank you for family times shared on the shores of Lake Michigan!  Bless-bless, Barb
PS there is mooing outside my window here just like at home!  Who would have thought!
