"God has put timeless into their hearts..."/ morning with Joy/Seven Sisters early morning

Her gentle hand on Mother Mary... I have had such a wonderful morning with Sweet little 1 1/2year old Joy Jean Jellybean, as grandpa loves to call her!  Grandpa has been here for breakfast, and took a few minutes to comb Joy's hair...

 Grandpa so gentle and loving towards his granddaughters as he loves to brush their hair!  I don't remember him doing that for his 4 daughters, but he says that he did from time to time after baths.

She knows that her grandpa loves her and there is nothing more wonderful than to be loved and to cherish all LIFE!  Pat is my champion for LIFE and family!

Joy watching her grandpa get ready to go and combine beans ... the sun is now shining so it could be one of the first full days of combining with those new monster tires!

Close to Jesus in the tabernacle under the Cross above as I lift up Father Denny in prayer while Pat is at a men's gathering... This Man is You in the Church social hall.  I spend time praying the office on my phone and praying over the readings...  

Seven Sisters are praying every day for our two priests... very special time as Father Denny has been so important to Pat and I through TEC all these years!  I made my first TEC in 1999, so that is close to 20 years now!

Praying the sorrowful mysteries... taking them into my heart and realizing His suffering and how it shows me that I must also take up my "heavy" Cross and in small and large ways accept my suffering and hardships that come with LIFE!

The line about a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing... applies to me as I was unable to give my parents a hug goodbye as I am coming down with a cold.  It can also mean in the marital relationship abstaining during the fertile periods to wait for children using NFP.

"He has made everything appropriate to its time,
and has put the timeless into their hearts,
without man's ever discovering,
from beginning to end, the work which God has done."
The timeless into their hearts... Heaven is timeless and infinite and we yearn for our being there someday and maybe finding a small slice of it in our domestic Church/family!  Yes, we look to our Lord, who is in control of our lives and we die to self and become humble and obedient, and it begins in this way...

"There is an appointed time for everything,
and a time for every thing under the heavens.
A time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant."
Just spending precious time with my parents, who are looking at the end of their days according to his plan and timing, and then knowing and praying for the 3 new little cherished lives in the wombs of 3 due in March... all according to God's plan and all stages of life from conception to natural death are protected and cherished!

With harvest here our work of planting and tending to the plants to feed the world... now harvest with the challenges that come this year... wet and rain!!  There were those in the fields yesterday uprooting the plants as they tilled the soil preparing for the cycle which begins in the spring next year.  After 40 years as a farmer's wife... i see the cycles and so much work and prayers pour in and around each season on the farm!

 Coat and shoes ready to go out and put a letter in the mail!

Little red head girl and a kitty the same color... golden fields will soon be harvested and ripped close to black awaiting the winter snows and silent and cold until spring warmth and rains and the planting season will come again!

One of her first words is "kitty" said with a smile and a pat...  They are so cute and grandma took a lot of pictures, of course!

 "Come and see Our Lady, Joy!"

Love her and Joy senses that Mary is special and will be important in her life's journey! Mary brings us to her Son and helps us through the seasons of our lives!  So much peace and acceptance of all that comes to us!

LOVE!!!

Jesus reminds us of his important suffering and death as he gives us our forgiveness and freedom to follow him!  The Gospel today...
He said, "The Son of Man must suffer greatly
and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes,
and be killed and on the third day be raised."

He is alive and well and gives us the strength we need to carry/.drag our most Cherished Cross and follow after Him!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah

Fall leaf and Black eyed Susan for Our Lady!  I love to step back in time with my little ones, and I must admit that the girls are super special after my 4 girls in a row "and then you had that boy!"  There was a huge sigh of relief when we walked into church with that blue bundle!  LOVE!  Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke
