Such a glorious day to share with Keith and Kelly as they came into The Church! We were told that we would be at a side altar, but to our delight we had a mass where truly we experienced Heaven come down to earth in the stunning sanctuary of St Paul Cathedral.
I was blessed with this most amazing experience thanks to my brother and his wife, Angela, who was the Kelly' sponsor for her confirmation where the Bishop laid his hands on them and called down the Holy Spirit!
A stunning vision and homily on the Holy Spirit from the Bishop!
The deep feelings swelled through me as I traveled past our former home in Kenwood on the super highway, and crossed myself as I drove past the Basilica, where Pat and I were married and dad shared this morning that they were ordained into the Deaconate there as the Cathedral was being remodeled in 1976.
Jesus comes to us at the consecration - "The Body of Christ!" So glorious to realize that this couple was for the first time receiving Jesus Christ! Every day since my first has been a most amazing gift with more than I can ever take all in and more and more to infinity of graces, gifts, Jesus in Word, Body and Blood!
The Blood of Christ!
To share this most special amazing coming into The Church where my brother, Dan, and I were confirmed in a huge adult confirmation less than a year after our first Communion shared on Christmas Midnight mass at The Cenacle convent in Wayzata in 1971... 48 years ago, and today we are sharing in another glorious time in The Church!

Christmas 1974 - we had come into The Church just 3 years before this - all 13 of us taking our First Communion at the Christmas Midnight mass at The Cenacle Convent in Wayzata, Each day since has been a gift to me!
Dad had just started in the first Deaconate class in the Diocese, and was ordained in April of 1976 with a year to still go in his training. "They were figuring things out and learning with us."

My deep loving memories of this huge transformation in my LIFE - coming into The True Church is so close to my mind, heart and soul this day as I am soon to travel over to The St Paul Cathedral for a couple, who are coming into The Church this morning!!!
I jotted this off before I left for this amazing couple hours after sharing Morning Prayer/the Office with both of my parents. How I love and cherish that! The wind beneath my wings!
Sharing breakfast before heading out to familiar and blessed territory...
Antiphon for Pht salm 92
As morning breaks we sing of your mercy, Lord, and night will find us proclaiming your fidelity. Dad interjected "faithful" for fidelity. Always my King of the family, who listened to The Holy Spirit and brought us into The True Church!
So overjoyed to share the Prayer of The Church with both of my parents in their new home!
How our family depends upon those prayers to go down the narrow path and we are given so much by The Church with each new day - Mary, Mother of God, Jesus in His Word, Body and Blood, The Saints, the rosary prayer to be as the air that we breath and every beat of our heart!
Lunch now watching the Bisons with our Marshall young man as quarterback... way to go Trey Lance! Then the Vikings...All around a great day with mom and dad and The Church they led us into!
Jesus, your bride, The Church is so beautiful! I stand in awe of all that we are given in such splendor and glory! Your presence is so obvious with the adoration and honor given you in this most wonderful mass today. Bless Keith and Kelly with each day of being now in The Church! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
God is present!!! All are aware and give Him all the honor and glory - Hallelujah to the highest heavens!
Mary and Christmas time were very much there and a huge part of the mass!!!
LOVE how the JOY of Christmas goes on and on! The Virgin is bringing us to her Son!

Pat called to let me know that Rose Again was having her first reconciliation today. The 3 grandchildren are having their first reconciliation and First Communion this May! Exciting and most amazing times in their journey in The Church! Sharing our Faith as a family is the BEST!
