We are waiting to get together until January this year, and know that with all "fake plans" that there is always a possibility that it won't happen as we hope - all together but Hallel. I have discovered that "fake plans" is our humorous way of trusting and leaving it in the Lord's hands and according to his plan.
The words of the Gospel today is the Canticle of Zachariah, which is prayed each morning in morning prayer. When Pat and I prayed together last night, we share the readings for the next day the night before as we have learned from our wonderful Community of the Lamb! As I started to read the Canticle from Luke 1 - Pat joined in as we know it by memory and we said the Gospel together!
These words today are filled with the wonder and awe of a newborn babe, who is God with us!
"...to give his people knowledge of salvation

We are doing much better. we reopened the chapel last weekend and are preparing for Christmas. So many friends prayed for us! It's very touching to witness so much charity in many details...medicines, lemons, fresh fruit and vegetables...
We continue to pray for you and your parents who will be with you for Christmas. There is no closed boarder between heaven and earth, and more especially that day!
