I wish, of course, that they had posed in front of my most beloved statue of The Immaculate Conception of Mary, but that stations of the Cross behind are a witness to this beautiful sharing! To have their 4 1/2 month old Luke Paul in their arms, their 5th child - it certainly shared without words the calling we have embraced in our domestic Church/family of being open to life and raising lights!
That sure tickles Pat and I to have a big hard working good attitude farm family living at the farm and doing all it takes to feed the world!
I am sure having fun thinking about this sweetie turning one in a few weeks. Grandma had gotten some clothes for pictures, and she did not disappoint.
In her great-grandma's chair yesterday before her nap.... she loves to snuggle in grandma's crib with her thumb and her blanket and take a gloomy day nap. 
Soft blanket and her thumb reminds me of all 4 of my girls! How they loved their nap times and this old mom sure enjoyed that peaceful time after lunch! I am known among my kids as the nap whisperer... getting those little ones to rest is healthy for them and for me!

Jude needed grandma to lay down with him to take his nap, so... I prayed my rosary with JOY!

13 months apart - close profiles!
This seems to be the case! Pat and I have said that the pandemic did not really change our lives. For one thing we are not afraid of it, and continued to live our lives much the same. Pat even went to mass almost every Sunday. I was prevented by having my dad here - he arrived here a year ago tomorrow, so that is filling me with memories and wonder and thankfulness and so many emotions! I was so blessed that Covid brought my dad to live here with me for his last 6 months of earth! It gave me a precious gift indeed!

Yes, it has been gloomy, cold and even some snow here and there. Added to that my own cold and just feeling under the weather adds up to kind of down and sleepy and yucky feeling. I kind of had to force myself to get her dressed up, but she made me feel happy with her sweet light-filled smiles in her eyes and her face!

Ruth and Paul are not only farmers but they are educators and promoters of farming. Showing the kids our Cow TV - surveilence camera in the barn that allows us to watch the cows calve and assist them as needed! They have a red pickup to prove how good they are at promoting their passion - family farm!

How we can go forth filled with the Holy Spirit with great hope and Trust!
As Mother Mary Magdalene wrote yesterday - I said "my greatness" without fear, because I mean is that I believe that I have received great gifts from God; and that I believe He has given them to me, I call them mine. The Lord makes me understand my nothingness when he withdraws his light... making me feel my incapacity for everything... Convinced of my impotence, I experience my greatness because God lives in me and what is his is mine.
