Spending time with Jude and Birdie these days... Time in the swing brought some Jude smiles with the lush grass all around.  Waiting for my lawnmower to get running, but time is full with child care.

Nice sunshine today, but chilly.  

Swing and pictures on a sunny cool day in April with Jude and Birdie, and a little bit of sharing here...

As I write this... here on my right is two little ones playing side by side... occasionally Jude will take

away toys from Birdie - she handles it well as that seems to be how they play together.

In the same spot and happy to be is the best these two get... they are only 13 months apart, so...

My normal reading/writing time is now distracted time....

I guess that I needed to take 4 of Jude in the grass surrounded swing in the sun this cool morning...

I was so excited to take the time to read mom's daily meditations by Pope Benedict XVI!  About the shout of JOY that comes to us with "Alleluia"!  I don't know about you, but I find saying this word with song over and over is expresses Easter for me as nothing else can!  "We are an Easter People and Hallelujah is our song!"

Birdie and Grandpa and a cracker makes a game!

Hallelujah transcends all words!  We were so surprised when we heard Hallel's name for the first time!  She explained to us that it was from Hallelujah - "Whenever anyone says my name, they are giving God all the praise!  Isn't that wonderful?"  Yes!  That is certainly a special blessing for that person and for our Lord!  

Now Birdie has her cracker back...

"What should I do?"  

Cracker all gone, and Birdie is fine with sharing with grandpa.  Such good kids 

Nap on grandma is rosary time.

Bananas are a hit for snack time.  

Time for lunch and naps.  Jesus, thank you for family time.  We can do this!  We are an Easter people and Hallelujah is our song!  Bless-bless, Barbara

So Jesus said to them,

I am a child of God through Baptism

and my resemblance to Him

has grown stronger through Holy Communion.

May I never forget my last Communion

and may my heart yearn for the next one.

 Somewhere, someplace there is a Mass being said 

-- a Calvary to be present at -- 
a Communion to receive,

either sacramentally or spiritually --

 

an opportunity to be more like Jesus,

 the privilege of helping my neighbor,

a time to say "I thank You, God", a situation to

choose Jesus over myself or a chance to make a sacrifice."
