“Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.” our Little Sisters and Brothers of the Lamb answer this call from Jesus!

Jesus on the altar in a new monstrance as we had some quiet peaceful personal time with Jesus in this light of Christ monastery in the heart of the poor in Kansas City, Kansas.  How we rejoiced with them that they were once again able to go out to the streets and beg for their food from the poor!  It has been a whole year since they are able to go forth and share The Gospel.
Birdie was 11 months yesterday and grandma got to spend some time with her... picture time!
Feeling so big at their little tikes table and chair...  she is so much like John and the girls - one of my Verly girls!
Mary had her first baby goat yesterday - it is a girl!  Spring and Easter is in the air!
So filled with Peace and joy as we had some time with our family of The Lamb.  As we shared in having a daughter as a nun we gained a huge family to add to our 31 when we add our new granddaughter on May 12th!  How we love to have our big wonderful family - sharing Faith/Family/Farm includes our Little Sisters and Brothers!
Jesus on the altar as we adore him to the highest heavens!  Today in the Gospel Jesus comes to his disciples risen!  He tells them to  “Go into the whole world
and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”

It is something that The Community takes to heart and lives out!  Starting the night before they "chew" on the Gospel for the next day... they repeat each line 4 times and then chant it 4 times.  It is much like Lectio Devina in how the Holy Spirit speaks to our heats as we reflect upon Jesus coming to us in His Word - the Gospel to be proclaimed to every creature.

So much light and peace fills us and we carry forth back to our lives on the farm.  wind beneath our wings, and special to see the 5 baby chicks we brought from Marshall warm and protected under the wings of the mother hen.  The Psalm coming to life!
The Postulant, Maryanna, is about the same height as Hallel and able to blow out the flames of the candlelabras
Back home and praying for Fr Denny yesterday with 7 sisters in our Eastery church!  Talk about peaceful and prayerful surrounded by LIFE in the form of flowers!

Easter lilies speak of the tomb
empty and the risen Christ alive and yearning for us with unconditional LOVE in the tabernacle!
Speaks of pure JOY and LOVE without end for all that Jesus accomplished by trampling down death by death!  He conquered death - where is your sting death?
If there was ever "Hallelujah" in picture form - this is it!!!

Hallelujah Chorus

2 year old Jude came to visit with dad... over to the farm and found some rubber boots so he could play in the rain water!
Rubber boots, trike,  and ducklings
Jude and tiny bottle calf in pen.
Mary's first baby goat... healthy and sweet.
Jude off with trike and puppy and bottle goats .  Thanks, Jude for getting grandma out to the farm on such a nice day!  On a day to day farm life - we proclaim the Gospel by living our life of doing the work to feed the world and intertwined throughout our day is prayer - both formal and just in our hearts.  Open to life and raising lights!  Bless-bless, Barbara
Ruth's porch is wonderfully decorated by pink tulips open to welcome the blue sky and white clouds after days of cold dreary rain!  Gentle rain for the fields - now some warm sun to prepare the land to be planted for another growing season on our farm.
Love to see the rolling pastures greening up! In a month maybe some cows and calves will be on pasture... the best sight of all!
Picture perfect!  "You've got to pray to Our Lady.
When you lose devotion to Our Lady
you're out there with the wolves." Mother Angelica

"Do you, then, be also careful always to join
to your daily visit to the most Blessed Sacrament
visit to the most holy Virgin Mary in some church,
or at least before a devout image in your own house.

If you do this with tender affection and confidence,
you may hope to receive great things from this most gracious Lady,
who, as St Andrew of Crete says, always bestows great gifts
on those who offer her even the least act of homage."

St Alphonsus Ligouri
Our Lady with us is my greatest JOY from minute to minute of my journey of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!
