Farmer Pat to the rescue - off to Washington/"...seek to serve him constantly." Ps 105

Maggie doesn't look too happy about her topknot/waterfall/fountain of hair.  It says to me that her crown of thorns/zig-zag incision from one ear to the other has healed!  Watch out Maggie!  Grandma and grandpa are going to be there in 2 days and I LOVE to do little girls hair after having 4 girls in a row.

Yes, suddenly Pat and I are heading out tomorrow morning in the dark for Fort Lewis, WA.  We are taking our livestock trailer to help them move from the West Coast to the East Coast.  Many prayers as we travel for two days on each end and a day of packing the trailer in the middle.

LOVE my Michigan memories this week!  This was Maria and Patrick 8 years ago with the Big Lake as a stunning backdrop!
LOVE the red of Ruth and Rose 9 years ago with the aquamarine lake with white caps - stunning and makes me yearn to step back to this special family time again!
Nancy and George in PA having a lot of great family fun!!
These two fill me with great JOY!  They have asked the Lord to lead them and now have an amazing ministry... rather 2!

Fr Denny in red today as we celebrate the martyrdom of St Maria Goretti today.  He lifts up the Blood of Christ which is also highlighted this month of July!

My wonderful July calendar from daughter in law, Bobbi!  LOVE!  Grandma was busy with matching patriotic clothes.
The 3 boys were 2 here and now they are all 3 within 6 weeks of each other!
Birdie and Maggie a year apart iwth fruit on their blue - Birdie with a strawberry and Maggie with a watermelon slice--- red white and blue, too!
The 3 girls at 4-5 last year with baby Maggie and Corny my kitten that only lasted a month here at my home.
So True and how we all get it backwards!  Lord, show us the narrow path to carry our cross with heaven as our goal!
Yes, may PEACE reign!
At the grotto in Michigan 7 years ago.  There are fake plans to try to go this year between the fairs!
Buried in sugar sand - some of the grandkids 7 years ago.
Now grandpa and grandma by the Manistique Lighthouse.
St Maria Goretti pray for us!

Half full not half empty.
Hear our prayer.  May we also "seek to serve him constantly." Psalm 105 from mass today.  It reminds me of my willing and able husband to always say "yes" and come to the aide of all that need him at the drop of the hat!  Many prayers for safety while we travel there and back again in just 5 days!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
A sweet picture from nature today.
A special picture I borrowed of many that love our country with us!  Bless-bless, Barbara and 53 - 34 with us and 19 in heaven including our parents and my sister, Mary and brother, Lincoln.
Cor mundum crea in me, Deus.
Create a clean heart in me, O God. -  Psalm 51:10

PRAYER after COMMUNION (Today's Liturgy)
O God, who bestowed on blessed Saint Maria Goretti
a crown among the Saints
for her twofold triumph of virginity and martyrdom,
grant, we pray, through the power of this Sacrament,
that, bravely overcoming every evil,
we may attain the glory of heaven.  Through Christ our Lord.

"Even if she had not been a martyr,
she would still have been a saint,
so holy was her everyday life." - Cardinal Salotti
