Shrine
As a place of grace, Schoenstatt has touched the lives of millions. The Schoenstatt Shrine is the movement's spiritual home and center of life. The shrine is dedicated to Mary as the Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen, and Victress of Schoenstatt. In addition to the Original Shrine in Germany, there are over 180 replica daughter shrines around the world where people gather for prayer, renewal, and inspiration. The Family Jubilee Shrine, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, is one of these daughter shrines. Aside from Minnesota, there are nine other Schoenstatt Shrines scattered around the US. Find more information here about these and the Schoenstatt family worldwide.Pilgrimage
Being a place of grace, Schoenstatt Shrines around the world serve as a place of pilgrimage. Pilgrimage opportunities are abundant at Schoenstatt on the Lake. The Shrine is open daily from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration is held in the shrine on the 18th of each month from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. During the months of October and May the rosary is prayed daily at 7:30 p.m. Aside from these regular opportunities for pilgrimage and prayer at the shrine, Advent and Lenten days of reflection are offered, as well as regular retreats for various groups. Feel free to contact the Schoenstatt center at any time with questions about a pilgrimage and events..jpg)

What is Schoenstatt?
Schoenstatt is a Catholic lay movement that strives to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the example and guidance of Mary. Schoenstatt was founded on October 18th, 1914, by Father Joseph Kentenich in the little Schoenstatt valley in the Rhine region of west-central Germany. The word "Schoenstatt" comes from the German for "beautiful" (schoen) and "place" (statt).
3 years ago with my dad and Birdie Barbara on Ruth's porch after mass on Sunday. Dad had heard about our wonderful brunches on the farm after sharing mass, and now he was able to experience it first hand. Birdie's first time too!I foresee many granddaughters coming up that will go to Schoenstatt Camp and spend time with nuns in habits and witness their JOY of being brides of Christ.
So beautiful to share our JOY with my dad 3 years ago - Sharing Jesus in Body and Blood and Word and then a wonderful meal shared on Ruth's wonderful porch!Jude and Birdie 3 years ago with hubby and dad.
Dad getting a tour of the farm including the shop that Pat had built a few years before dad came to stay with us.
David served with a broken arm included ringing the bells at the consecration.
LOVE that we are proclaiming the Gospel - the Word of God with each Hail Mary! Thanks to my patron Saint Luke!

I would tickle her chin, she would smile, but it would fade when the camera appeared in her face. I had to keep trying...
Pat and I got up at 3:30a this morning to take some fat cows to butcher in Buffalo Lake an hour and a half away. We visited and did morning prayer along with the readings from mass today. They involve 7 husbands from Tobit and from Mark. It is always powerful how the readings go from one day to the next and how they relate to each other.
I found the Psalm 25 - Your ways, O LORD, make known to me;
teach me your paths,
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my savior.
R. To you, O Lord, I lift my soul.
Remember that your compassion, O LORD,
and your kindness are from of old.
In your kindness remember me,
because of your goodness, O LORD.
R. To you, O Lord, I lift my soul.
Good and upright is the LORD;
thus he shows sinners the way.
He guides the humble to justice,
he teaches the humble his way. Psalm 25
Each day I am given so much by Jesus, Mary, the Saints and The Church! So much Truth and beauty! I burn to share it here each day and so look forward to what lies ahead for me.

At an angle or is it angel? Lord and Lady, how I love you and adore you with my all. May I die to self so that you may live in me. Use me to your honor and glory. Teach me your paths, and guide me in your Truth. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barbara and the 34 plus many Little Sisters and Little Brothers
