Exciting weekend in France for 3 Americans - 2 taking habit and one first vows!/God loves a cheerful giver. - +JMJ+

My mother and I and lilacs a number of years ago.  How I thought of my sweet mother yesterday on the feast of her beloved St Edith Stein/St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross!  How she loved her and wrote many stories about her and with her.  It is as though Hallel had to enter an order that looked to her as one of their patron Saints - her love of the Cross and The Lamb of God is what makes her beloved by The Community of the Lamb!
She discovered The Truth in Jesus and His Bride, The Catholic Church, and converted from Atheism to now a Saint!
She became a Caremlite nun!
Yes, she died in Auschwitz a martyr along with St Maximilian Kolbe, whose Feast is on Maria's birthday on Wednesday - August 14th!
I had an hour with him yesterday praying with 7 Sisters for Fr Denny, and another hour with him tomorrow night - the first hour of Monday!
St Max!!!
Nancy's 6 in Delano last week.  She has 3 losses, too.  They have a brother names Maximilian buried in the infant loss in our Catholic cemetery here.  Nancy lost him at 20 weeks in the womb.
Nancy's two youngest - George, who is one of the three 5 year old boys, and Regina Maria who is 2 1/2yo with Tommy.

A year ago the county fair was going on now - it will be here next week... I am the photo lady since I took so many over the years.  No longer - I now share them here on my blog.
Therese with our first eggs a year ago - we now have our new chickens laying about 7 a day.  Therese also helped at the fair with my photography judging.  This year John will be my much needed assistant.
Joy and Tom found 7 eggs yesterday.  They said that the chickens pecked at their bare feet and Tom screamed at them...
Go change your world!
St Max got it!
We would always go to mass on the Vigil of The Assumption on Maria's birthday!
John's oldest Jude Dale is going to HRS -our 7th grandchild with at least 3 more to go!  He is in the third row from top the second one in!
Jesus, I trust in you!
The worst sin - taking the lives of the innocent in the womb!
Jesus, my all in all!  LOVE the words of St Paul today to the Corinthians - God loves a cheerful giver - help me O Lord to be more willing to give without counting the cost!  Jesus, I trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and the 33

I am watching 2 American girls take their habits that we have learned to love from their time in KCK
