Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Our marriage stories - "The world needs LIGHTS!"
Pat and I went to 8a mass on our anniversary on Saturday the 3rd of August. It was First Saturday with Mass, followed by the Rosary shared and Reconciliations happening with 2 priests. Pat and I were especially impressed with the 2nd Luminous Mystery we prayed - The wedding at Cana! It was most powerful to hear that it became a Sacrament with Our Lady's help asking for the first Miracle from her Son, Jesus Christ!
Pat went to confession, but I just did not feel well - a bit hung over after too much wine- I am ashamed to admit. I just could not make my way into that small box with my upset mind, and stomach... I felt deep shame, and confessing that was too painful.
For our Anniversary we went to a special gathering in New Ulm with Jeff Cavins and Matt Mayer. While Matt was playing they had Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Bishop Chad and... many priests hearing Reconciliation during. The Lord really wanted me to get our 47th year off to a clean start. I still hesitated, but.... I did it! It really allows me to get a new and fresh start! I long to do better with my sins, and to have them forgiven is a great gift to me. I am weak and lowly and need your help my Lord and Lady!
Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!
Dad and I in St Croix Falls, WI for mom's funeral Mass a few months after her death in a day. I was tremendously blessed to share in his Religious LIFE for the last 6 months of his life here on the farm. Dad was a Permanent Deacon in The Catholic Church for 44 years! The Lord and Lady made a way for our nun to visit home while her grandfather was there. She had not seen him since she left for France 12 years before. I was in heaven sharing in both the religious life of Deacon Robert and our Little Sister Hallel! Not only does the Lord make sure that I get into the Confessional. He also spoils me with so much Beauty and TRUTH!
This is still on my wall! Yes, I am spoiled and want to remember it, and cherish it!Also leave it all in the Confessional and begin again with JOY!
Mary some years ago at the Fair - it begins next week for us here in Marshall!
Taylors Falls on one side and St Croix Falls on the other side of the St Croix River - separated Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Love me some Pope Benedict XVI and the Truth about Mary!
Sweet Corn day is now behind us - we only did 6 pails this year with the help of Ruth and the farm kids! Even Big Dave took a hand at the knife!
Farmer Pat was a big help - how we love our family putting up food days! We now have a huge applesauce canning days ahead! Lord and Lady help us!
Every day on the Rosary I pray for the 23 grandchildren, 5 children, 4 spouses, and the 13 in heaven!
Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to see your Glory! May I always follow you without counting the cost! Jesus, I trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb and the 33

Gospel Mk 9:2-10
Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John,
and led them up a high mountain apart by themselves.
And he was transfigured before them,
and his clothes became dazzling white,
such as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
Then Elijah appeared to them along with Moses,
and they were conversing with Jesus.
