The Bridegroom was long delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep./2nd Coming of Jesus!/Family canning time. +JMJ+

Ruth and Paul dropped off their 2nd oldest, Mary Angela, at Welcome Week at the U of M on Tuesday.  I know she will do well, but there is always that newness that brings on nerves and worry.  Many prayers every day for the 2 grandchildren that have set off into the world of college life.. Simon to Sioux Falls and Mary to St Paul.
She is given so much love and support from mom, dad and her 6 siblings.  A firm launching pad to take off into her future life.  Grandma prays for her every day, and reminded her to make some Catholic friends as her Faith is truly the most important part of her life.  Oh, grandma!

A picture from Mary last evening at the Gophers Football game with the Marching Band on the field.  Looks like fun and she is a part of the experience of going to the U of M!

David and Luke getting the cows and calves back into the DNR pasture - Rooster Flats on a hot day.  How we appreciate our farm family!

Praying for granddaughter Mary with her namesake - Mary the Mother of God.  She is always there to help and comfort in times of worry and new experiences.

I am remembering my own Welcome Week at the U of M in 1970 - 54 years ago!  It is where I met Pat's sister, Margie Rose, who was a fast friend for that year I attended the U.  We kept in touch when I transfered to St Kates, and became Catholic and a nurse.  7 years later she invited me to her wedding and then I met her brother, Pat.  A year later we were married.  I tell her each year that because of her holding onto me as a friend... I have my life!

Corn over their heads while they dig out huge rocks down the path to the pasture behind our house.  Luke and Pat in the mud after an inch of rain.  I was driving the 4 wheeler as they toiled in the heat.
LOVE our Lady and all that she shows us how to be like her.
Such a hot day at the State Fair for Nancy and her kids for 4H Share the Fun!
St Mother Teresa!!!
A cute story from France of Hallel helping one of the little sister's family.  It was so fun to hear about her living up to her Minnesota Farmgirl helping out in a time of need and to get a great picture of her with a member of the family with a very interesting lunch!  It is a small world!
Now a wonderful picture from Saint Pierre, France with a little sister turning 90 - everyone is there!  ls Marie and Jean Claude!  Such a great picture to see!  LOVE how wonderful the founders look in this joyous picture!

I am blown away to see my Goddaughter in Michigan with my brother and family on Beautiful Beach!  We sure love Michigan and the family time that comes with time there.
My brother, Phil, with my sister-in law, Angela sure gave me a big smile to see him after a few years since his restaurant closed and therefore I have not been able to stop in a see him like before.
LOVE is so important in this world!
Love that around her birthday we get a lot of her Truth and wisdom!
Truth!
From Lourdes France - love her and how she brought John to find his Faith!

John's Spirit Juice Video continues with wife and 3 children!
John over for our family canning day with Nancy down from Delano with her kids!  How we love to make food for our 6 families together and have some bonding of cousins and siblings!
John with his youngest 1 1/2 year old Lucy Marie!  She ate all the pepperoni off the slice of pizza!
Love this of St Mother Teresa with the crucifix - "I Thirst."  Jesus for us with so much unconditional Mercy and LOVE and forgiveness!

The Gospel today was the 10 Virgins and Fr Denny preached about the Second Coming which we all await.  The Virgins waited into the night and all became drowsy and fell asleep.  Yet, the wise ones were prepared and entered with him when he arrived.  We also must be ready and prepared as we know not the time!
Yes!
Danielle Rose - the Saint that is just me

St Therese loved so deeply for only living 24 years!  I am off to visit my Therese in Fort Riley, KS today.  We are having for the first time a traveling canning day!  Applesauce here we come!  We are even bringing the apples - 10 pails or more!  The tree was breaking from so many apples this year!
Pondering her love for her spouse Jesus Christ!  I am allowed from time to time to live out my nun life.  Jesus spoils me that way.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and the 33.  Labor Day weekend with our military family in Kansas.

Love this - the JOY!!!
"Our present time and the future of the world
are illuminated by Christ's Eucharistic presence and
are desperate for His action." - Bl James Alberione (+1971)

"Jesus is present and
lives in our midst in the Eucharist.
Let us listen to Him for He is truth.
Let us look at Him, for He is the face of the Father.
Let us love Him, for He
is love giving Himself to His creatures.
He comes to our soul
so that it may disappear in Him
and become divine.
What union, however great, can compare to this?
