The end of a long and good day...

Pat took the afternoon to be with us as Nancy and Bill brought Bill's family here from Pittsburg to visit Nancy's roots on the farm.  It was nice to have him around and relaxed and visiting with the men about the farm...  It seemed like the most impressive part of the day was going over to the big shed at Ed's to have Simon show them the equipment!  How Simon loves it all and knows quite a bit about it after all the hours he has ridden in the combine with Uncle Eddie...   We were all tired and Pat laid in the soft grass at his mom's with the grandkids after they headed back to the Cities... It was good for Nancy to share her "farm roots" with her soon to be new family.  She does love her farm background and tried very hard to stay here and find someone, but the Lord had Bill for her and I know that as much as possible they will come to share the farm life with us!  The Minnesota Prairie meets the Pittsburg former dairy farmers/coal miners.  It makes for an interesting mix and we hope to go there and see their lives someday soon! Now for the wonderful celebration of their wedding!  Thank you Lord for bringing our two families forever together!  Bless Nancy and Bill with a wonderful marriage!  Jesus we trust in you!
