Dressed in red sweatshirts and rubber boots... Mary and Simon arrived holding hands and smiling ear to ear, for a few hours on the windy warmish spring afternoon on the farm... it has been a routine now to have the wound care nurse arrive with her family after Simon gets off the bus from Kindergarten. We are enjoying family time on the farm and there is always a lot going on that keeps them active and interested...
Little Davey enjoys snuggling with a new calf that they named Blackie... He is so interested in everything that grandpa is doing outside. It is fun to look at the world of the farm from the eyes of a 2 1/2 year old... kind of amazing and wonderful!
From red to purple and blue... Spring is a feast for the eyes of color and beauty - from handholding red sweatshirted siblings to a blond boy and a black new calf to green leaves and grass accenting the reds and purples of flowers and fruit - is rhubarb fruit? I am feasting, and rejoicing! The earth has come miraculously out of it's deep freeze and has come back to glorious LIFE! Jesus, we thank you and always trust in you for the good things in life! Amen
