Sweet little Nancy Anna - so quiet and mild - I thought I had been given an angel... I was not wrong! You have been and continue to be a JOY to us!
Up at Nancy's for a full weekend... We are finally going to pray outside of an abortion clinic in the morning... there is one close by Nancy and Bill's Church. Every Saturday they have mass at 8a and then go over to the clinic to pray. I will know a lot more about it after the experience, and am aware of others that are supporting us in prayer.
There will be a specialness about this experience tomorrow - as we all have when one of our children has a birthday... it will be Nancy's birthday tomorrow, and it always takes me back to the day of her birth. She was my second living child... I had a 3 month mischarriage between Ruth and her, so there was some anxiety with this early pregnancy. All went well until my blood pressure started to rise and I was put on increasing bedrest. Finally I was induced about 2 weeks early so that she could get here safely. My little Nanuck of the North - a thick patch of dark fur type hair and dark complected... Nancy Anna - named after her two amazing grandmothers!
To top it off... Nancy is now 7 months pregnant with a little boy, so to have that new life soon to be here and very cherished and longed for...and to be there outside a place where lives are taken by abortion. I expect to be very emotional and on my knees in supplication to the Lord that these women can realize that this is a life!
So sweet daughter of mine, and grandson soon to join us in this world of wonder... May those that are scared and alone and distraught about being pregnant, come to know that this is not a mistake but a life and give it LIFE!
Jesus, thank you for the light that entered this world with the birth of Nancy Anna... all the blessings you have poured upon her in this last year with her wedding to wonderful William - Billy, and now the soon to arrival of their son... they fruit of their love, and a new light that will touch the world in his unique and special way. May our prayers and all those that are surrounding us tomorrow make a difference in the hearts, souls and minds of those that are looking at ending the lives of their unborn child. Jesus, we trust in you! Amen and Halleluia!
Bless-bless, Barb
