After the whiteness of winter... there is just so much color that comes with Easter and spring, and the beauty of the shining sun certainly makes the world around us so super wonderfully bright. But I do think that these Easter eggs were super colorful this year, and then that toothless grin on top of it! Pure JOY!

To have John home was great fun for me... we were attached at the hip last year with his battle and victory over brain cancer... now we just like to be close when we can, and we are thrilled that John has been able to be independent and back at college and doing well!
Helping his Godson, David, in the Easter egg hunt out in the sunny yard... his height has a definite advantage!

Davey took John over to hang out with the "angel" - I don't think that Our Lady minds to have a 2 1/2 year old blue eyed sweet little boy call her an angel...

We put on rubber boots and headed out to the pasture and watched sticks get a super ride down the rapids! Nancy is a little over a month away from welcoming her son... I leaned over and whispered to Bill at the Easter vigil last night that he will probably be standing in the back with their 10 month old boy next year, and with great JOY will the new dad do that! It comes with fatherhood and sharing church with our families - no matter how young!

Soon Mary will have to learn to hold a tiny baby once again... We are so happy and excited for our new grandson!

Thank you, Lord, for such a wonderful day and for the family times that we shared together outside! Continue with the good weather, so that the farmers can get the crop into nice warm dry soil!

The joy of lawn mowing is soon to be on the schedule... it seems to like the cold wet weather that we have been having!

Nothing like those special posed pictures... they know what it takes to fill me with JOY, JOY, JOY, JOY down in my heart! We did get to talk to Maria and Susan/Hallel in France! It is just nice to hear their voices and to know that they are happy too!

Jesus, today was truly filled with your Easter JOY! The simple things like family times out in the sunshine and sharing a meal... all the things that filled your life here on earth... those days after you rose from the dead. Celebrating our salvation thanks to your sacrifice is what brought us together as a family whether in body or phone call... Jesus, we thank you and trust in you! Our JOY is complete! Amen and Halleluia!
Bless-bless, Barb
"I have the JOY, JOY, JOY, JOY down in my heart,
Where?- down in my heart, Where? -down in my heart
I have the JOY, JOY, JOY, JOY down in my heart
Where? Down in my heart to stay!
"I have the peace that passes understanding down in my heart!
Where?- Down in my heart! Where? - Down in my heart!
I have the peace that passes understanding down in my heart.
Where? Down in my heart to stay!
"I have the love of Jesus, love of Jesus down in my heart.
Where? - Down in my heart. Where? - down in my heart
I have the Love of Jesus, Love of Jesus down in my heart!
Where? Down in my heart to stay!"
A song that I have known forever and sing with the grandkids! And sharing the JOY of the little ones today certainly was the center of our happy joyful day! Thank you Lord!
