"He wants to do nothing without us." Fr Bro

I have been laboring for the last week with the pictures on my computer... I had the best birthday present in the world yesterday, as I finally got reinstalled the organizing program that I love and use for quick access of pictures to my blog!  With the help of my kids and kids in law, and many hours of  putting my pictures on another hard drive... I am today feeling like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders!  And now I am free to use these wonderful pictures that were given to me by Pierre... my friend from France, who has a beautiful camera and takes pictures of Hallel and sends them to me.  These he took at her first vows in July!  This was before... kneeeling in silence before their Jesus... He has called them each to HIM!
Later they lay prostrate in the form of a cross... Hallel is having her scapular straightened by one of the others.  The words of Fr Jean Claude the night before about how their habits are the color of the heavens and the shape of the cross... Yes!  This is saying that they are willing to take up their cross and follow HIM with their lives!
Lately I have been reminded that Christ wants us with such an "incomprehensible love" that "He wants us to have a part with him in the saving of souls; he wants to do nothing without us...  Love did not allow God to remain alone.  God, it is true, does not change, but in conformity with his plan, he is waiting to give us, in our prayer, an opportunity to fill the places he has set aside."  Fr Bernard Bro

Such joy!  Hallel knows, without a doubt, the tremendous mysterious love that Christ has for her!  She knows in her heart that "He wants to do nothing without us!"  There is all the reason in the world for her total abandonment to His call and His endless LOVE!

Fr Bro continues..."Through prayer, we witness the utmost delicacy of a God who wished to do his work in response to his friends, even to the point of saying:  'Before they call, I will answer' ... (Isaiah 65:24)  Wow!  When I read that last night... I was really taken to the extent of HIS LOVE for us!  I just had to go and find it in my TEC Bible and read it... it is a bit different but still mind bending..."Even before they finish praying to me, I will answer their prayers."  That is super quick, and shows His love, and unending concern for us, and our every need!  Some of those needs are taken to the Cross, and that is where our understanding breaks down, and we feel abandoned by Him in our distress, but what we don't understand is that we are tiny lambs in his arms, and He is carrying us in our weak and suffering state!
So with total joy and trust Hallel could kneel before her foundress... Little Sister Marie and put her hands in hers, and take a vow of poverty, chastity and obedience to Her Spouse, Jesus Christ!  Then rise and place her hands on HIM in his Word!  How she loves HIS WORD!  Through her jouney... I have fallen head over heals with THE WORD of GOD, Jesus Christ!  I always loved it, but now it is with me throughout each day... starting the night before, when I read the Gospel, with great excitement, for the next day!

Lord Jesus... my mother's heart is filled to the brim and overflowing with joy and happiness for each of my children, and how they embrace your call to them!  They take me to such a deep place, and I thank you for them!  To see the fruits of the Spirit within them... I have no doubt that this is your call and your will... for you want to share all with us!  You want us with you always and everywhere on this journey of life!  Your LOVE is so huge and complete... you want us to come totally and without reservation to you, and to be totally overwhelmed with that tidal wave of LOVE!  May we each embrace our Most Cherished Cross, and through that tree of life, come to totally know and love you with our lives!  Jesus, we trust in you!  Amen and Halleluia!

 Bless-bless, Barb
The corn harvest is underweigh... we put the farmers and their safety in your hands and Trust that..."Before they call, I will answer."  I feel so much more peace in this hectic time of year!

"All those devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers."
Acts 1:14
"Mary, the Mother of the Church, prays with us.  Through her example and intercession, we learn the lesson of faithful prayer, just as through our meditaion on the mysteries of the rosary, we learn the lessons of faithful life taught by Mary and her Son Jesus."  See http://www.magnificat.com/
How I love my rosary every day!  It is my life blood, and got me through my very weak and scared out of my mind places along John's cancer/healing journey.  My heart and prayers are now invested in a young girl, who is the same age as John, whose cancer journey is going in the other direction!  John prayed for her in Lourdes, and she is a part of John's 5th decade of the rosary each day!  Lord, hear our prayers!

We are heading to my neice's wedding after school, and Ruth just informed me that a little kitten will be joining us... she is "nursing" it kitten milk replacer with a syringe, and it has to be fed every 4-6 hours!  Davey is giving it kisses and hugs... It is a joy to have those creatures that need us and depend on us for life... it makes us look outside ourselves!  That is always a good thing!

"Those who pray the rosary wtih all their heart know form experience that the rosary is an 'outpouring of... love' (Blessed John Paul II)  What evokes love in us like nothing else is the face of the beloved gazing at us.  The rosary intends to do just that."  Fr Peter Cameron, O.P.  Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us and lead us closer to your Son,on this your feast day!
