4 years ago in Michigan with the girls and their families! Nancy with her baby, Dominic, just 3 weeks old and Maria just a few months from having her Romeo. Each girl had a baby girl next, and now 2 in heaven for Nancy. How we love LIFE, open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!
Together is the best!!!
The two oldest girls went to college at a Benedictine University - the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND! Ruth for nursing and Nancy to be a high school teacher. It was too far away, but it was Farm and Ranch and Catholic and that it a rarity!
The girls going to the U of Mary brought us closer to St Benedict, and we discovered the way the Benedictines serve others through hospitality. Nancy would attend mass with the aging sisters and share with me how they touched her. She also asked where Mary was at her university! There has since been built a glorious grotto to Mary and we have a brick in the path for our family's support of her!

The one that popped up on my memories today! Patrick's eyes are open and all the rest are great for 11 little ones with their wonderful moms!
Spelunker (a person who explores caves)
Yesterday's announcement that the soccer team made it out of the caves was exciting! Today's saint, Saint Benedict is t...he patron saint of spelunkers!
Coincidence? Miracle?
Let us celebrate Saint Benedict!
Let us pray
So great to find this beautiful tribute to St Benedict today... he left the world and lived in a cave to allow no distractions between his heart and God's heart!
"Listen and attend
with the ear of your heart."

Life in motion and with JOY! My eyes of my heart are filled with tears of JOY at the glorious memories of being together as a Domestic Church/family! The ears of my heart recall the happiness and sounds of LIFE we share!
The words are ringing and the ears of my heart hear the words of Jesus this day in the Gospel from Matthew 10:7...As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’”
Yes, we can find a small slice of heaven/The Kingdom of heaven here on earth in our domestic Church/family with the help of Jesus, Mary and His Bride, The Church! We are given so much with each new day! Jesus in The Word and Sacrament... each day The Word is shared in The Church throughout the entire world from St Peters to our little country church here in Minnesota! How powerful does it become when it is prayed over, preached from pulpits, and meditated upon in prayer and blogged about by many asking the Holy Spirit to direct them, like me.
Little Sister Hallel with her siblings and their children in May of 2017 when Hallel came home for her home visit! Sharing our Faith/Family/Farm with JOY is a small slice of heaven/The Kingdom of Heaven in our domestic Church/family!
Hallel's Community of the Lamb has taught me how to really delve into the Word with the help of The Holy Spirit as we begin reading it and mendicating it the night before! I get very excited to read and sleep on Jesus in His Word!
Now grandma jumps in.. the sign on the barn made a special backdrop...
Oh my... the 3 baby girls... Joy was only a month old!
The backdrop for the newly weds!!! LOVE!!!
I work very hard on my pictures!!! I can be a huge pest to get them as I can envision them in my mind and my heart. This one turned out beyond my expectations by far! It is so special to watch their love and sweet care for one another!
Sweet, true and real the eyes and ears of my heart tells me!
Sing to him, sing his praise,
proclaim all his wondrous deeds.
Glory in his holy name;
rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!
R. Seek always the face of the Lord.
or:
R. Alleluia.
Look to the LORD in his strength;
seek to serve him constantly.
Recall the wondrous deeds that he has wrought,
proclaim all his wondrous deeds.
Glory in his holy name;
rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!

Look to the LORD in his strength;
seek to serve him constantly.
Recall the wondrous deeds that he has wrought,
Psalm 105 from mass today! I would call it a grand Hallel Psalm as it is filled with so much praise! The funny part is that the word for Grand in French means tall also, and Hallel is a foot taller than most Little Sisters!
How I love to look back and "recall the wondrous deeds he has wrought" in my life!!!
"We asked the Lord and he answered us!" John and Bobbi, True LOVE!
Jesus, we are giggling today at the Truth of St Benedict looking after those boys and their coach! Such a miracle that they were found and rescued from the most scary of circumstances! The times our lives seem hopeless we need only to look to you and Trust! Jesus, we do trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah!

Galatians 5:13-14
Remember that you have been called to live in freedom – but not a freedom that gives free rein to the flesh. Out of love, place yourselves at one another’s service. The whole law has found its fulfillment in this one saying: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praised be God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation! He comforts us in all our afflictions and thus enables us to comfort those who are in trouble, with the same consolation we have received from Him.

There is evil running rampant. For protection from the powers of darkness, we implore the intercession of this great defender - St. Benedict
