Maria and Hector and Magdalene in their church clothes makes for beauty for Captain Joseph. Why is Joe in day after day of the same? Same place, same people, same schedule, same food... one day after the other... groundhog day!
The best!! It even looks like Maggie is trying to smile for daddy! LOVE her soft booties! I am sure that Joe doesn't see that every day!
It looks like these two are sharing some special peaceful time. Maria shares that Maggie is still so good at night with eating and going back to sleep. And more awake during the day.
A sweet picture... thank you, Maria and Maggie!
13 years apart... and so happy and content. It is wonderful to see Maggie getting loved and cared for by her big family. Maria runs a tight ship and it runs smoothly! Maggie looks to be flourishing!
A sunbeam of love and joy! "Oh, I just love my big sister!"
Always so sleepy, but Maria says that she is awake more.
LOVE this from a year ago... Pipi braids in the prairie wind. Joy and Josephine were 3 and now they are 4!
These two one year old are just 6 weeks apart... now they are 2!
Dad at mass a year ago holding 1 year old George, who will be a big brother around Christmas! Dad is with us still and praying for Nancy and the baby and Ruth and the baby more perfectly from heaven!
Breezy push into church a year ago! George looks content in his lap and getting a ride on those big wheels!Dad's marking and sharing with me today from the Office of Readings - St Cyprian on "Hallowed is your name"
Dad to us - "How many times the scripture tells us to honor the Name"..."There is no other Name under heaven by which we are to be saved - JESUS!"
Garden a tabernacle where He delights in his creation... I need to go out and weed but the burning heat is giving me too many excuses! Lord, please send us rain! We are in desperate need!
“You have heard that it was said,
You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.
But I say to you, love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father,
for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good,
and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. Matthew 5:43-48
Dry and hot... lots of sun on the open tractor.
Taking Pat a lot to drink in the dry heat and open to the sun and the wind on the tractor as he mows many ditches. Mowing, raking, baling, and putting away bales in huge mountains makes up a lot of his summer!
Corn leaves look like hands raised in desperation to the skies for the Lord to send down rain! Please, Lord!
Pat is 66 and always been living on the farm. He has seen it all including some million dollar rains just in the nick of time after masses and prayers for RAIN!
Heads above the tall grass in the shade this morning - the words of the 23rd Psalm come to life - "He leads me in green pastures, and beside the still waters - he refreshes my soul."
It looks so soft and peaceful and comfortable - all laying down in the shade and the early morning breeze off the prairie.
Dappled sunlight on the soft grass - calves almost hidden in the soft bed of grass.
The creek is near by.
Rays of sun from the blue sky - no clouds today and that means no chance of rain.
Pat with a day of mowing ahead of him.
Mom and Pope Benedict XVI today - Jesus in The Word and The Eucharist ..."God's presence in The Word and His presence in The Eucharist belong together, inseparably." Pat and John many years ago! More than 25?
Jesus, I am filled with your many blessings and graces with each new day! My cup overflows and the words of total praise today in Psalm 146, an Hallel Psalm, shares all that fills my heart, mind and soul!
Praise the LORD, my soul!
I will praise the LORD all my life;
I will sing praise to my God while I live.
R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
or:
R. Alleluia.
Blessed he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the LORD, his God,
Who made heaven and earth,
the sea and all that is in them.
R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
or:
R. Alleluia.
Who keeps faith forever,
secures justice for the oppressed,
gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets captives free.
R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
or:
R. Alleluia.
The LORD gives sight to the blind.
The LORD raises up those who were bowed down;
the LORD loves the just.
The LORD protects strangers.
R. Praise the Lord, my soul!
All my life I see your handiwork in my life and that of my domestic Church/family! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Two Saints from my lifetime! How I love them both and know that they are fighting for LIFE with all they have from heaven! Please, protect the unborn baby that is in danger from abortion! Bless-bless, Barbara
LOVE!
