“If I but touch his clothes, I shall be cured.” Mark 5

The first time David met his Aunt Susan/little Sister Hallel in KC in 2012... she is holding miracle boy, Patrick, who was born dead and brought back to life!  Hallel is asking David if he knows who she is..."No, but you look just like my mom."  Yes, they are sisters that do look a lot alike!

I am short on time and inspiration this last Sunday of June - 13th Sunday of Ordinary time, but each time I hear today's Gospel a most beautiful happening years ago comes to mind and heart!   It involves 4th daughter, Susan, who was living in a discernment house in St Paul asking the Lord to show her where he wanted her to be wife or nun- spouse of Jesus.

8 years ago Hallel with her Goddaughter, 5 year old Therese both in blue doing the dishes - "our life is prayer and dishes." reports Hallel to her family

13 years ago I was invited by Hallel to come up to a special prayer and worship gathering in the church on St Thomas Campus.  Hallel was going to speak at the beginning of her love for Jesus and His Bride, The Church.  She humbly shared her love for Jesus in the monstrance which was brought in by a procession of servers and about 4 priests including our wonderful Fr Craig.  Jesus was placed on the altar and a scarf was placed around the base of the beautiful monstrance, and all were welcomed up to take ahold of "the hem of his garment" and kneel before Jesus, the great healer and lover of all!
Two years ago Maria took her kids down to introduce Hector to her sister, Hallel, for the first time!  He was the 3rd of the new little boys in 6 weeks that Hallel got to meet in KC.  Hallel has been in France for the last year, so we are so grateful for our home visit a year ago when my father was living here for the last 6 months of his life.  He had not seen Susan/Hallel for the 12 years since she left to join The Community of the Lamb!

Back to Cora Jesu gathering 13 years ago... the priests were throughout the church hearing confessions, praise and worship singing was going on in the center aisle for our Savior, Jesus Christ on the altar, and two by two many came up to kneel and hold onto his garment!  So powerful!!!  At one point a professed nun in her 50s knelt there with her spouse.  Such a statement of beauty and LOVE!
Danielle Rose - If I touch him
So amazing and she reminds us that each week we reach out to touch Him in the Eucharist!
Eucharistic minister Pat giving dad The Body of Christ - "If I touch him... I will be healed." For dad at 95 that meant coming to join mom in heaven peacefully and in comfort thanks to Faith and hospice!
Michigan some years back... I realize why I am a bit down in the dumps these summer days - our time in Michigan over the 4th is right about now... sigh!
7 years ago... getting my family together on the inland sea!  LOVE!
"Lord, I am not worthy for you to enter under my roof."  Gospel words from a few days ago... today the raising to life of the 12 year old girl!
Beautiful beach in Michigan.  My heart is so missing this!
Sugar sand family time!
Last year in my blue apron helping Hallel make lunch for the Little Brothers with farm hamburger and produce.
Hallel's home visit last July - meeting Mary's goats!
Over to do chores this morning - the herd has grown for Mary the goat farmer!
Calf heads above the pasture grass on the way to the farm - The Lord is my shepherd - give us rain, O Lord!  Bountiful Rain please!
Moved into a new pasture...
Joy in a cute spot with Hallel a year ago.
Safe and cute as she spends time with her aunt that is a nun!  So powerful for the grandkids to have her example of asking the Lord to show her his plan and saying "Yes!"
Dad is with me in spirit now and left behind so much for me in his wisdom and prayer books daily!
58th great grandchild, Birdie Barbara, was special to my dad - so close to watch her grow and blossom!
Mom died 7 months ahead of dad in a day.  She is so missed!  She also is with me daily with her daily meditations by Pope Benedict XVI which she read for 10 consecutive years!  How she loved his wisdom and love for The Church!  I am so lifted up by both my parents knowing that we share LOVE for ALL The Church gives to us!  No reservations at all!
The crew in Kansas 2 years ago...  The Mary grotto of healings and miracles!

We are off soon for a gathering with our TEC family.  TEC entered our family in 2000 - 21 years ago and we have all attended a retreat, and now have our 2 oldest grandchildren of age!  Prayer became REAL to me and not just something to say but powerful and a way that Jesus does touch us and answer our prayers! Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Youngest granddaughter, dad's #59!  Maggie getting her sweet cheek kissed by her big brother, 2 year old, Hector.  So many prayers that we can get together this summer.  Bless-bless, Barbara
