A few more for good measure - the clouds make it so beautiful! I have always had a thing about clouds and have been known to put a white sheet on the top of a car and have my young daughters sit there as if they are in the clouds. There is definitely something heavenly about them!
I discovered that my dad also appreciates the panoramic view of the sky and clouds we have here on the prairie. When we would sit out to pray each day... we would watch the sky and the clouds and the cross shaped streams from jets overhead.
95 degrees and gorgeous sky to the heavens! So many prayers for rain, O Lord, hear us!
Heat and clouds - how we pray that they could water the earth!
Love to see the cows and calves in the middle of the yard - so pretty with Ruth's flag pole garden and gate to the pasture. When the grass is this high - the kids love to hide in the tall grass as someone looks for them! They drop out of sight in the tall thick grass, and squeal with delight if they are found by the person who is it!
Cute white face red calf up to it's shoulder in lush grass on a hot day towards evening.
Flag indicates there is wind, sky and lush pasture filled with cows and calves, Pat's wonderful monoslope barn with heifers and steers soon to go to feed the world with prime beef for the grill!
It makes me smile to see the love and hard work that Ruth and Paul put into the farm! They have made it their own and much detail to the beauty of the farm life they live - Ruth has the life she grew up with and does it much better!I had a special sharing with my dear brother, Dan, this morning. We both read the Magnificat each morning and evening as well as the readings from mass each day. So when we come across a special meditation we share it with some excitement at the wonder and beauty of it all!
Today St Ephrem on this his feast day, and what a vision he has of paradise - so amazing we both agreed and then Dan mentioned..."I see mother's love of beauty, truth, and goodness there, too." Yes! how that all came flooding over me!This was a teaching we received from our mother on the occasion of her passing away in a day on March 16,2020! Her words are like straight to us from heaven, where dad reminded us that "she is now praying for us more perfectly".
Dan also reminded me of how this reflects upon one of mom's favorite writers C.S. Lewis and his book, The Great Divorce. This opened the floodgates as I recall that mom wrote her version of this amazing story and it can be found by all to be read on line on their website - CatholicDiagramTeacher.com - A user friendly site for Truth Seekers
Here is the book, which my brother and I agreed that we will read and savor in the near future!

THE GREAT REUNION
After C.S. Lewis’ The Great Divorce
By Nancy M. Cross
Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, was so glorious
that the children of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses
because of its glory that was going to fade,
how much more will the ministry of the Spirit be glorious?
For if the ministry of condemnation was glorious,
the ministry of righteousness will abound much more in glory.
Indeed, what was endowed with glory
has come to have no glory in this respect
because of the glory that surpasses it.
For if what was going to fade was glorious,
how much more will what endures be glorious. 2 Cor 3
Out to water the plant for Mary with her stunning bush giving "glory" to the highest heaven for my Spiritual Mother of heaven and earth!
On a cloud of blossoms!
Some spray paint is in order to give her the love she deserves.Dad left me this wonderful gift - daily meditations by a monk in upper New York - Brother Victor! How I love what he shared today about St Ephrem! How true it is that he builds up the Church, the Body of Christ! Today I am filled with JOY at all that I have been given by him in the sharings today! How he loved Mary and wrote of such "beauty" - I am overwhelmed by how he loves her as much as I do, but we can never love her too much! No one can love her more than Jesus!
No pool for John today, but grandma is ready and willing to help whenever we want to cool off on these hot days.
A appreciated picture from Maria of her oldest, 13 yr old Therese, and her youngest 4 weeks old today, Magdalene Rose! Nursing on her nose - a true baby kiss!
Lord, I am overwhelmed by all that you give me each day! I am still in a deep loss of both my parents in the last year just 7 months apart! Yet, I am given teachings and lifted up each day by all that I am given by them and your glorious Church! May I die to self and proclaim to all that Jesus Christ is LORD, and The Catholic Church is the True Church! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah

Happy Feast DayOur Lady of Grace
Mediatrix of All Graces
Feast Day: June 8
In 1830, Our Lady appeared to Saint Catherine Laboure in a vision and told her that the rays of light streaming from her fingers symbolize the graces she obtains for those who ask for them, but many graces were available but did not come because no one had asked for them.

For this honor avails me not,
Nor yet use incense and perfumes,
For the honor befits me not.
Burn yet the incense in the holy place;
As for me, escort me only with your prayers,
Give ye your incense to God,
And over me send up hymns.
Instead of perfumes and spices,
Be mindful of me in your intercessions."
