8th grade graduation for Dave at HRS/50th wedding anniversary in the family/St Luke with me - +JMJ+

The beautiful statue of Our Lady in front of St Mary's chapel in our Catholic School with our new graduate, David Lawrence.  He is off to 9th grade at the high school next year.
The sun setting and making the new windows glow with gold as David is saying goodbye to Holy Redeemer School after 9 years.
David is the 3rd farm kid to now go on to the high school.  He will have a year there with Mary, but Simon is graduating this year and going on to his new schooling.

Processing in before our mass.
Rose served for the mass.
In the morning David put his sister, Joy's graduation cap on her and processed with her down the aisle of church.   Ruth and Paul have kindergarten graduation,  8th grade graduation, and Simon graduating from high school!
Bringing up the gifts with Rose as altar server.
Joy with the beautiful rose that David gave to his parents as a thank you for raising them to be good young people.  David is certainly that - he does not even have a cell phone, and is a hard worker on the farm.

The graduates - Congratulations to all!
Today is my sister, Marty's 50th wedding anniversary to her love of her life - Steve!  Congratulations you two!
They are in their happy place in Michigan on the Big Lake Michigan!
Marty shared her anniversary with our sister, Mary, who died from cancer 37 years ago.  It would have been her 39th wedding anniversary today.  The Lilly of the Valley is a special reminder of the bouquet I took to her wedding 39 years ago.
My patron Saint - St Luke is joining me in prayer for 2 expectant mothers.  One married late in life and is expecting on the Feast of St Luke - October 18th, and the other has been infertile for 10 years and is expecting twins at about that time, too.  Such a special connection to my Patron Saint, who gave us all we have about Mary including the amazing Visitation in Luke 1.
St Luke and Blessed Mother we place these two women with LIFE in their wombs in you and with you.  Bless them with new little LIFE to have and to hold.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah

Taking up the gifts - Tom has a baby brother, Thomas, who is 1 1/2years and will start Kindergarten in 5 years.  They will have kids going to the Catholic School for 22 years!
A thank you hug for mom and dad from #3 child - David.  "I love you mom and dad, and thank you."  That means the world to us from our kids and grandkids too.  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 34 plus many Little Sisters and Little Brothers.
