I had about 300 pictures on John's computer from our 5 weeks in Rochester for his final step for healing - Stem Cell Transplant. I finally was able to get them off of it... a special gift. I really thought that this one of John reflected in the window at night with Mayo clinic and hospital as a backdrop was a super picture. It really is a picture of the way we were lifted up by all the knowledge and thoroughness of Mayo. It seems that so often there are those that we encourage to not mess around anywhere else but go to where they see it all, and where they are super specialized in every area. There is the area where they do only spinal taps, and the area where they only do MRIs and the area where they draw blood or do EKGs. People come there from all over the world, and we needed to know of others like John, who was very rare, and know that they could beat it! We know of 2, and that is something that we can hold onto, and gives us HOPE! Just recently we know of a little baby, who had been sent to Sioux Falls as we were, and they had some horrific things happen there. They then had a Children's hospital and Mayo that they were going to visit, and they came away from Mayo totally convinced that they were in the best of hands there and totally impressed with the doctor and how he was shedding tears with them and speaking from experience with other babies with the same condition that they have worked with. It means so much to know that they have worked with similar cases! A person just needs to know that, and it gives us much peace!
My time spent every day here too gave me tremendous peace, hope and trust. The Eucharistic chapel was so peaceful and prayerful and lifted me to HIM daily either before or after daily mass. That is where the healing and all the fruits of the Spirit truly flowed. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless
