While I was out helping Pat for a couple hours in the mono slope barn - putting up the electric fence so that the calves can have a spot to lay away from the big cows... I noticed how special the bond is between Snowball and her calf Snowflake. They are together and are very affectionate and caring towards each other! So sweet to watch them basking in the sun together side by side - calm and peaceful and sleepy.
Taking a nap in the sun- I came into the house and got my rosary and sat by the woodstove to doze and pray. I had gotten inspired by Snowball and Snowflake taking a nap together in the sun! Good night and sweet dreams with visions of a sweet mama cow and her new baby calf napping and content with their life on the farm. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless
