"Now get up from the ground and praise God." Raphael to Tobit and Sarah

A painting by my mother that graces their dining area... coming into The Church and finding the Truth/treasure/LIFE/LIGHT/LOVE!  My dad is big on looking with Easter JOY/praise to the resurrection in our lives and carrying that forward into our lives..."We are the resurrected Jesus... his hands and feet... and we are called to be that in our lives."  My dad is very limited these days in how he can get out, but all those that encounter him - yes, even as a patient in the hospital he shared Jesus with the nurses who worked with him.
Saturdays are devoted to Our Lady and this beautiful icon sweetly reminds us to see her as the monstrance filled with Jesus/Our LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!  Mary the Mother of God was poor and humble and gave her all as the widow today in the Gospel giving her two small coins...she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood.  Jesus to us this day reminding us that even if we feel small and useless - he will take what little we have to change our world for the better.
Dad glad to be home and on the mend.

Jesus, go with me this day, and I give you what little I have to give without counting the cost.  May my hands and feet be yours.  Jesus, I trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
 Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
"For the sake of the sorrowful passion have mercy on me and on the whole world."

St Peter showed us that although a sinner we can still LOVE Jesus and be used by Him!
