The storm is approaching... with Jesus I am confident in Him

It is a full time job of mine trying to get that perfect picture... don't laugh and shrug at me, because it is a very hard and tiring insanity on my part.  I finally have one with both girls looking and smiling in their semi-clean matching outfits, and it feels so nice.

I have to admit that I was turned onto the fact that the Gospel on Sunday will be Mark4:35-40... Jesus calming the storm.  I saw that Fr Robert Barron had put his homily on Sunday on FB, and with great excitement I looked ahead and saw that it was indeed the Gospel now 6 years after the Father's day that we took John into the ER and heard that he had a tumor in his brain.  When we called France to tell Susan/Hallel... "Mom, this is the storm and Jesus is in control."
Little girls in Tutu skirts running in the sun...

Many powerful sharings this morning - one asking for prayers in a crisis situation and another sharing the beautiful death of a priest friend with whom I have been very close to as his nurse and friend - sharing a trip to NCYC with him years back.  It always touched me that he remembered my name ...  Fr Craig shared this beautiful picture today -
"RIP Fr. Paul Hadusek. He died a most beautiful death, with priests stopping by to visit all through the day, and the Sisters of Mary, Morning Star singing vespers at his bedside. We were singing and praying the rosary when he entered eternal life."  Fr Craig Timmerman
The powerful sendoff for Fr Paul as he entered heaven surrounded by LOVE and Peace and Joy!  A heavenly angelic sounding leaving of this world!  Death can be looked upon as a storm which instills fear and loathing in some, yet with Christ and His Mother, the angels and The Saints and all the Sacraments and sacramentals - like the rosary - given to us by our amazing Catholic Church.  There is so much to give us comfort, confidence and great peace as the end approaches and arrives!

Jesus, so many emotions fill me as we gaze into the storms of life on the horizon.  May we walk into the sunset of our lives with great peace and JOY at coming to join you with the Angels and the Saints led by your Mother, Mary Queen of Heaven and earth!  Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
My sweet Mary shares that she kind of misses grandma always taking her picture with the little girls... Bless-bless, Barbara Luke

I have a grandson with red curly hair and blue eyes - Romeo Joseph who is 9 months now!
