A week ago... John and Bobbi after sharing mass together.
I love this showing the beauty of our church in Marshall after we remodeled over 5 years ago. Worth every penny to honor this stunning Church which has been our family's church home for the last 40 years! John and Bobbi seem to settling down in Marshall, so it will be their family Church home, too. With ties also to the Ghent Catholic Church/St Eloi where they will be married in 3 months!
The Catholic School where both John and Bobbi went to school through 8th grade for our morning prayer service during TEC retreat 2 weeks ago. John and Bobbi would love to have their children attend school there, too!Today is our 2 week small reunion for TEC. I thought that I would be in KC now, but it was not to be. I am gifted with seeing those that we shared the weekend with instead, and sharing mass in this beautiful chapel just 10 minutes away! After traveling to all the other TEC centers over and over... this is such a wonderful treat to us! With Pat in the midst of calving, it allows him to leave the farm in Paul's hands for those hours and share mass and hugs with our TEC family! LOVE!
Morning prayer with Hallel and her Community of the Lamb a few months back!
I am super excited to think that Bobbi's parents are spending some time with Hallel and her Community this morning! They had just left mass and called and talked to Hallel and were on their way over there to see them! Talk about divine providence and I know that Hallel is excited to meet Bobbi's parents!
We are so blessed to have her living here in the U.S. this year at Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ in KC!
John and I shared a nice breakfast, and then looked at Cow TV before we started the office/morning prayer complete with an Hallel Psalm - Psalm 148! There before us was a cow having a calf! We called Pat, who was surprised as he had just looked at them 20 minutes before. "She must be in a hurry!" Sure enough we could see the calf there newly born and the mother licking it. "You will see the new calf healthy and with it's head up!" We count our blessings for each healthy new calf!
My champion for LIFE with his lap full of girls! A common sight and one that warms my heart more than most!

It came up in my memories that 5 years ago I wrote the pages on my blog devoted to my conversion with my family of 13 and how the Holy Spirit was at work in Pat in our early marriage stories...

From 5 years ago!!! I refer to these pages almost daily!
Hi all, I just spent much time.. to the point of my fingers hurting by so much typing - I have added two pages to my blog about my conversion - http://familysou...lstory.blogspot.com/p/the-amazing-story-of-… And also about my marriage - http://familysoulstory.blogspot.com/p/my-most-cherished-cro… I am humble and excited to share these! So many times the Lord has touched me! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless
They are so sweet and happy and they are following His Plan for them! Putting Christ first is the Way, The Truth and the LIFE!
The Gospel today of cleaning out the distractions from the Temple is so true and such a powerful way to be a better follower of Christ and His Bride, The Church! We are called to embrace all and not to pick and choose or question! But trust and go forward filled with The Holy Spirit as guide and source of all holiness and good!
Hallel and Joy. Joy doesn't know what a lucky girl she is to have spent some time with Hallel shortly after she was born, and now again with her new teeth and her special smile! My prayer is that Joy will have great times in KC with the Little Sisters in her lifetime as they are humble and loving little followers of Jesus so that He may shine forth and be more!!!
Jesus, LIFE is a gift and we embrace your Most Cherished Cross to find LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT! Please continue to be with calving this day, and may the farmers hard and diligent work to care for the cows and calves be rewarded with healthy calves! May we clean out our temples and allow nothing to come between us and your Truth and unconditional love and forgiveness/mercy. May we then return that to those closest to us/the ones that it is hardest to love yet the most necessary that we love and forgive without counting the cost! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen
Hallel was my 4th girl and Rose is Ruth's 4th. I often think that Rose looks a lot like her Aunt Susan/Hallel looked, too! And Pat calls Rose Susan often. Rose it blessed to have an Aunt who is a nun! We all are! Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke

True but hard to do...

Today is the feast of St. Casmir. He loved the hymn "Daily, Daily, Sing to Mary" so much that he was buried with the lyrics.

I just know that Adoration is my best time of the week! I should say that and Mass!!
