Today her father and brothers are celebrating their wonderful Saint Joseph feast day!!! Happy Feast Day Joseph, David Joseph, Patrick Joseph and Romeo Joseph!!! Your parents... Joseph and Maria, hold dear the examples of the Holy Parents to Jesus and the importance of a family modeled after them!

It always moves me to have his feast days just 2 days apart... Patrick on the 17th of March and now his patron Saint Joseph on the 19th! In between the shining light with a heart for serving the poor without counting the cost - now 10 year old granddaughter, Therese!
Grant, we pray, almighty God, that by Saint Joseph's intercession
your Church may constantly watch over the unfolding of the mysteries of
human salvation, whose beginnings you entrusted to his faithful care.
Collect ~Today's Liturgy
For Christmas she found out the patron Saint of each one of her Aunts, Uncles, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and made a special laminated picture of them for us to look upon in our homes. My mother just pointed to hers in a prominent place in their home and told me to tell Therese how special that gift is to them! This girl gets the depth of the Saints and how they help us down the narrow path!
Growing into such a beautiful light inside and out!!

Take our needs to St Joseph!!!

“The saint is a medicine because he is an antidote. Indeed that is why the saint is often a martyr; he is mistaken for a poison because he is an antidote. He will generally be found restoring the world to sanity by exaggerating whatever the world neglects, which is by no means always the same element in every age. Yet each generation seeks its saint by instinct; and he is not what the people want, but rather what the people need...Therefore it is the paradox of history that each generation is converted by the saint who contradicts it most.”
- G.K. Chesterton
Be the contradiction.
Joy with her first grandma curl topknot in a bubble sink in the big farm sink at the farm! A fun family evening at Ruth and Paul's after tagging the hormone free cattle.
"Saint Joseph believed unhesitatingly in the mystery
of the Incarnation, in the fruitful virginity and in the divine maternity of Mary.
He believed without seeing the miracles that were to fill Judea
with his glory and renown of his holy name.
We too should recognize Jesus in the frail Host
that is offered to us at the altar. Here He is even smaller than
at Bethlehem, more hidden than in Saint Joseph's workshop.
Still it is He, 'I believe all the Son of God has spoken,
than Truth's own word there is no truer token.'"
Bishop Pierre-Anastase Pichenot
Love this sweet scene... may our homes also be a small slice of heaven here on earth with Jesus, Mary and Joseph there in our midst to model for us HOLY FAMILY!
"When Egypt was laid waste by the great famine,
Pharaoh told his people,
Ite ad Joseph! - Go to Joseph! (Genesis 41:55)
So if we are in trouble, let us listen to the word of the Lord
and take Pharaoh's advice;
let us go to Joseph if we wish to be consoled."
- St Alphonsus de Ligouri
Wow!!!
We love our bubble sinks!!! Rose and Luke about 4 years ago! This is now my sink as Ruth and I have traded houses!Godfather, John, watching over his precious Goddaughter, Joy!
I admit that daily I am praying with Mary to her Son, and I tend to leave Joseph out of my prayers. John and Bobbi have been looking to him daily as they are looking at a home to buy and jobs that will allow them to be open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS! Who better to turn to with those needs? It looks like the house has been found!!! And continuing to Trust in the work where John can continue to serve those in need and make enough to support a growing family. St Joseph, we pray for this young couple looking to you in heaven to give them direction!

O God, the creator of all things, you framed the law of labour for the human race. Graciously grant, by the example and patronage of St. Joseph, that we may do the work You provide us and earn the reward You promise. Sustain us with Your grace to live up to our duties in charity and justice.
Amen
St. Joseph, Pray for Us!
Truly Joy in a little body!!! So fun for grandma to spend time with this wonderful happy little sweet girl!

* EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES *
ADORATION AT CASA SAN PABLO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
It was taken on October 30th, 2011 at Adoration at Casa San Pablo in Sto. Dgo. Dominican Republic. Here are some interesting features; the colours of red and blue/white (Divine Mercy) and gold (glory). ...
These colors also feature on the Rosa Mystica statutes (red, white and gold roses representing the mysteries of the Rosary).
After careful examination the "gush" of graces (looking like water) are coming from the bottom area of the Host and over to the right, reminding us of the vision of Ezekiel.
O Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, Have mercy on us!

Jesus, with Mary and Joseph in heaven... how we long for families to discover the help you have to give us if only we die to self and allow the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and minds with the knowledge and love of Christ! Putting our Jesus and His Bride, The Church, first in our domestic Church/family we can be led into Truth as we love and serve one another without counting the cost! We certainly have such a beautiful humble loving example of this in St Joseph! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen
This one is entitled Poverty... How I would love to know more about these wonderful images and their deep deep meaning! She speaks of humility which is a poor humble spirit of giving our all!
My humble pictures reveal the splendor of this church!

MEMORARE TO ST. JOSEPH
Remember, O most pure spouse
of the Virgin Mary,
my beloved Patron, ...
that never it has been heard
that anyone invoked your patronage
and sought your aid
without being comforted.
Inspired by this confidence I come to you
and fervently commend myself to you.
Despise not my petition,
O dearest foster father of our Redeemer,
but accept it graciously. Amen.

St. Joseph, spouse of the Blessed Virgin, foster-father of Jesus Christ, and patron saint of husbands and fathers, pray for us!
3 years ago on this day...
This was the only family picture I got of Joseph with his family while they were all here in January... all the more special to have grandma Anna in it! It pictures all the Josephs celebrating today! Joseph David, David Joseph, Patrick Joseph, Romeo Joseph, and add to that Patrick Gerard Joseph as Pat chose St Joseph as his confirmation Saint! Happy glorious high feast day all you wonderful Josephs!
We miss these family times with Pat's mom on Sunday after mass!

Oh wow!!! LOVE this and him!
