Meeting his Aunt Hallel/Trust/Chrism blessing - Rejoice!

George was so peaceful and alert as his Aunt Hallel held him, read to him from the Bible, sang a blessing over him and blessed him with Chrism with "rejoice" being spoken with the cross of sweet smelling chrism on his newborn forehead.
Little Sister Judith reading from Matthew about the Lamp put on the lampstand for all in the house to see the LIGHT of Christ!  Yes, little George you have been brought into the world with the "yes" of your parents to being open to life and raising the little ones in their domestic Church/family as lights for this world!
Sharing a family meal with a full table and lots of wonderful lasagna that Bill made!  Also our homemade tomato soup was a special addition and appreciated by all!  Wonderful to break bread with two of my girls in Kansas City and welcoming new little peaceful George... just 6 days old today!
He was wide awake for his aunt Hallel and his sisters...
The entire family gathered around to hear Jesus in The Word, and the songs of blessing over George.  They sound like angels singing and George seemed to think so too!
Placing the sign of the cross on his forehead with the word of "Rejoice" to seal the blessing with love and JOY!
Each one of us received a blessing and the sweet smell of chrism lingers with us and the rejoicing dwells in our hearts!
Dominic's turn... all of us got anointed, too!  Even Judith had Bernadette anoint her forehead!  Sharing in the celebration of new LIFE!

A crazy picture of the 5 with the addition of newborn George!
Then we each received a miraculous medal to keep Mary close to us...
George wide awake and peaceful with the singing of his Aunt Hallel for him and his family and how special it is to have The Community of the Lamb in our day to day lives!
George in blue sleeper that has Little Brother on it!  Nancy said that he will discern someday a call to be a Little Brother of the Lamb!  Such a powerful option for each one of my 16 going on 18 grandchildren to consider a call to serve Christ in this amazing way!
Such a blessing to have some time with my two girls together to celebrate the growth of our family with a new precious life!

Jesus, we are finding so much joy in our domestic Church/family sharing our faith with JOY!  Our love grows more with each new member.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
The 5 with Aunt Hallel… they were very blessed by their time here!
Her new Miraculous Medal now on her cross from Christmas.  "It is special to have Mary's medal with you."  said dad to her.
