"I will love him for always!" smiling with her dimples Bernadette admired her new 2 day old brother!
Mom says it is so good to be home!
Beautiful new little baby to fill her arms!
We got word that there was no school before we went to bed last night, and this is what happened all morning... half a foot of snow!
Berna out pushing the snow before mom and George came home! It was 60 degrees yesterday and now it is 10 and half a foot of snow! It was nice to have a family day.. with everyone here to welcome baby George home. "He can live with us forever!" said Bernadette. He will always be your brother united in love!
The morning was spent watercoloring together... Berna painted a drawing I had done of the 3 girls with their babies! George is here now and soon we will welcome Maria's son and Bobbi's baby! Exciting times indeed!
Sweet loving sister with her baby brother. She looks to be following in the model of her older cousin, Therese, who is wonderful in caring for her younger siblings and helping her busy mom.
Today in the Gospel the people were amazed when Jesus heals the deaf man with a speech impediment... not only can he hear but he can speak clearly! They were exceedingly astonished and they said,
“He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.” Mark 7
There is a feeling around here with this new perfect little boy now with us safely and healthy and lovely and warm and soft as Berna and JoJo exclaimed... He has done all things well indeed!
Josephine taking pictures of Berna and George with both mom and grandma taking pictures of her taking pictures... it gets kind of crazy sometimes!
"He holds my hand like he likes me... like he likes me a lot!"
Jesus, we are so in awe of the beauty of creation we see in the new life of George! Each new life in the womb is sacred and to be protected and cherished from conception to natural death! May we die to self and follow after your commands in order to experience a small slice of heaven here on earth in our family/domestic Church. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Maybe George has dimples too!!! Trying out the swing that has been put away for a few years...
Center of attention... all is peaceful upstairs as mom is back in her own bed with her new sleeping son! So good to be home!
LOVE these two together.. a picture of peace and happiness.
Our watercolors and the card from Dom's preschool show our love!
So many prayers surrounding the moms and babies for all to get through this safely and healthy! Bless-bless, Barb
Gus reading to mom and his new baby brother... Special family time...

George Blaise joined the Catholic Sprouts crew last night around 6pm. Very healthy, and we are so grateful to welcome him. Thank you for all of your prayers! This community's love and support is incredible! The miracle of life never fails to overwhelm and humble me. Who are we to be so blessed? Who are we to welcome this perfect little boy?
God is good, all the time, but sometimes His goodness is so so so incredible.
Pray for us as we transition to a family of 7!
“All that we do is a means to an end, but love is an end in itself,
because God is love." - St Teresa Benedicta (Edith Stein)
