Two will be leaving to return to their communities in Europe, so they borrowed this mom's car to go on a trip to Topeka to spend some time in a church there praying for one another. I had some candy in the car that they shared for their trip. It just feels good to be a mom and have my daughter ask to use the car.
After Nancy and I dropped the two older ones off at Catholic School, we drove to Lumen Christi to pick up my car. We got to sit in on choir practice... the sound of angels singing takes some practice.
Hallel got some George time in while we moved my stuff into my car along with many empty jars from both The Community and Nancy's family... We can food for 6 families so there is a lot of empty jars piling up in my basement getting ready to be filled this summer.
Nancy will be around to help out more, and Maria here for a week or so, too! Fake plans to get the 3 boys together for the first time! Maria and I also have plans to get her family to KC and see Hallel either coming or going to Washington! It will happen!
Lots of smiles and hugs from my KC kids after our days together. Berna showed her dimples, and a special hat she made on her fieldtrip yesterday.
I even got hugs from Dominic... I think grandma spoiling him with doughnuts get me some hugs!
Love these from 3 years ago... kittens found in bales with no mother and the kids had to raise them just as their mother did when she was a girl. Living the life Ruth grew up with gives me lots of JOY!
3 years ago just shortly after Ruth remodeled and moved into th farm where she grew up! Truly having the same life as she grew up with.
Much powerful words in the readings today traveled with me.
"For the one whom God sent speaks the words of God.
He does not ration his gift of the Spirit.
The Father loves the Son and has given everything over to him.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life"
John 3 is amazing! The Spirit is alive and well!
Sweet Bernadette!
It is wonderful to have Hallel close by! Thank you, Lord! Bless-bless, Barb
