The tiny farm prairie town of Colman, SD where my father was a Deacon Administrator for 3 years! A place of great beauty showing the LOVE we have for our amazing Church!
Jesus on the Cross is a Catholic image as we honor the sacrifice we are asked to embrace and follow his example. It is there in front of us! My dad at the foot of the Cross with the angels holding up the altar!

My father baptizing my 2nd daughter, Nancy Anna, being held by her Godmother, my sister Mary, who had lived with us during my late pregnancy as I was in bed due to high BP. Mary died 4 years later from Lymphoma after finding her farmer and having her daughter, Audrey.

My father being a Permanent Deacon in The Church since 1976 makes me "breathless" as I have been blessed by his ministry in my marriage and family life! Baptizing my children, preaching at my wedding and many of my childrens' weddings over the years, so blown away by the Lord's plan for our family as all 13 came into The Church 48 years ago... each day has been a blessing! I am "breathless" at the Lord's overflowing wisdom and beauty all around me!
Much like the Queen of Sheba in the first reading today!
When the queen of Sheba witnessed Solomon’s great wisdom,
the palace he had built, the food at his table,
the seating of his ministers, the attendance and garb of his waiters,
his banquet service,
and the burnt offerings he offered in the temple of the LORD,
she was breathless.
“The report I heard in my country
about your deeds and your wisdom is true,” she told the king.
“Though I did not believe the report until I came and saw with my own eyes,
I have discovered that they were not telling me the half.
Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report I heard.
Blessed are your men, blessed these servants of yours,
who stand before you always and listen to your wisdom.
Blessed be the LORD, your God,
whom it has pleased to place you on the throne of Israel.
In his enduring love for Israel,
the LORD has made you king to carry out judgment and justice.”
I Kings 10

Our marriage in the stunningly beautiful Basilica of St Mary! The Catholic Church takes us to a heavenly place where we can witness the LIGHT/LOVE/LIFE we are given if we come and follow our Jesus! Breathless indeed!

Nothing is more beautiful than Jesus here for us on the altar and in the tabernacle and He comes to us in His Wisdom in The Word that is read each day in every Catholic Church around the world - united in His Wisdom and Truth!

The girls outside the Majesty of the Basilica years ago!
I am having a struggle with internet today, so my pictures are used from former blog posts...

The Chapel at the Cenacle Convent where we came into The Church... all 13 of us receiving our First Communion at Christmas Midnight mass in 1971! I then lived with the sisters for a month studying religious life as I was discerning a call to be a nun!
Daily mass with the winter light streaming in January of 1972... I fell in love with Jesus so hard, but he then called me to marriage 6 years later, but now I have my nun, and am allowed to share in her amazing LIFE with Jesus!

Our Church here in town - Holy Redeemer awaiting Jesus on the altar for Adoration after mass on Sunday night!

The Holy of Holies!
Hubby is home in the storm, so I am needing to end this sharing today. I am struggling with pictures with the poor slow internet, as I had longed to share many beautiful pictures of the Church making me "breathless" with the gift we are given with each new day!

Inside the Basilica of St Mary in Minneapolis... as we entered The Church this was our home parish! So amazing!
Thank you, Lord, for the work of human hands that lifts us to your glory and honor! We are given a glimpse of heaven forever with You, Mary, the Saints and Angels! We long to spend each day surrounded by your Beauty, Wisdom and Truth! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
A humble grotto where pigs would come is now filled with so much beauty by Our Lady of Lourdes appearing 18 times to a humble peasant girl, Bernadette! I am breathless with my Mother, who fills the world with her Beauty! Bless-bless, Barb
Her beauty and Truth - Mary is truly at work in this world bringing us to her Son for healing!

Nothing reveals the marvel and beauty than the human LIFE! How did life become expendable and babies to be killed at the whim of the mother? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
