Making the call/Too much snow/Radical newness brought by Christ... salt and light

The two baby boys in bubble sinks while we all gathered around them laughed and smiled and marveled at them!  We are so blessed to have 3 healthy baby boys growing up together as cousins!

Sharing supper and family time supreme!

Deep snow made church impossible!

 Pat only got a short distance to realize that we would be foolish to try to get to mass with the kids.  We would be sitting in a ditch!

All dressed with winter clothes on top, and we head out to the two pickups to plow through the deep snow to mass.  Pat went out with the boys to check out the road to church.  Minutes later the call came - "Make pancakes, we cannot get to church!"  He made the "call."

 Some pretty snow pictures before we made waffles.  "Grandpa Pat's Waffles" were yummy in our warm house with the deep snow all around us!

 Simon has discovered a new skill that he can do... putting down tile.  Dad would measure and cut them and Simon would put them down!

Upstairs new bathroom!  We had the kids to play with cousins and spent the first night. Last night they slept at home.

 Couldn't get enough of the boys in the bubble sink... First George...

 Then Jude in the other sink... missing our Hector, who is between these two.  George will be one on Thursday, Hector on March 8th and Jude on March 26... 6 weeks from oldest to youngest!  

Just watched mass on TV as we are not sure how soon we will get our roads cleared out.

 Soon they both had mohawks to add to the cute factor and grandma and grandpa laughed a lot!  Jude loved to SPLASH!

Sharing cups back and forth with smiles on their faces!

As Father said we can be "salt and light" if we listen to the words of Isaiah 58/the first reading

Thus says the LORD:

"Share your bread with the hungry,
shelter the oppressed and the homeless;
clothe the naked when you see them,
and do not turn your back on your own.
Then your light shall break forth like the dawn,
and your wound shall quickly be healed;..."

We give to others and put them before us in order to be salt and light to our world!
