This Tremendous lover/God's greatest power: His Mercy!/Joybeams!!!

4 year old Simon had just looked around the breakfast table and said the famous words of Truth.."We are all family!"  We traded places 3 years ago and this is now Pat and Barb's home!  Ruth now lives on the farm.

As the 6 newly come to the U.S. Little Sisters of the Lamb drove up from Kansas City to our farm to meet Susan's family.  Susan had just gone to France to join their order - the first American Postulant!  Truly they are our Family of the Lamb and now 11 years later Susan is Little Sister Hallel, a fully professed Little Sister!

David is the baby and is now 11 1/2 years old.  They have added 3 siblings to their Farm family!
The sign on the barn welcomed them!  Three stayed in the U.S. for 10 years and now are American citizens!  I see the wind blowing their head scarfs... as I recall they got a good taste of the prairie winds and also got to witness the fall harvest going on as it was October 2008.
Grandma had sweet Joy overnight while mom and dad were busy.  She loves to swim in the jacuzzi and got the bubbles up to her chin!  She loves to come to grandma and grandpa's house and is always a ray of sunshine... I termed them Joybeams!
She packed her swimsuit and her jamies…  Mom calls her a unicorn when grandma gets her hair out of her face with the topknot.  Yes, I am known for putting the girls hair in curious ways that don't always please their mothers.  I just shrug it off, and go ahead and do what I like.
Always seem to need the 3 to be complete...  I must have the Trinity in mind and heart.  My sweet little JOYbeam red head!

The readings today show the Tremendous love and Mercy that the Lord has for us!  The first from 2 Samuel 12 where Nathan brings a message from God to King David after his most horrible sin of adultery and murder... taking the prize Ewe of the poor man rather than from his many!  David then sees his sin, and...
Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the LORD.”
Nathan answered David: “The LORD on his part has forgiven your sin..."
Lots of thoughts supporting our Mary today at a speech meet with her coach Uncle John!  Go Mary!!!

Then we go to the Gospel today... Mark 4 of Jesus calming the sea!  The powerful reminder that we were given from the Lord on Father's Day 2009 when we were told that John had brain cancer!  "Mom, this is the storm and Jesus is in control."  Hallel told us when we called France to tell her.
It was so hard to give the control over to the Lord and Trust, but we had to and his LOVE and Mercy surrounded John to this day of the new John healed and filled with Faith!

John's story!
Breakfast with grandpa!  We were given many Joybeams along with the rising sunbeams!

I was very touched by this Meditation today about the Gospel by Archbishop Martinez (1956) as he ponders the contrast between the fury of the tempest and the sweet majestic peace of the divine slumber...  What would the sleeping Jesus be like?  St Therese of the Child Jesus states that children please their parents just as well in sleep as awake.  To souls enamored of Jesus, the Beloved is as beautiful in the silence of his sleep as in the zenith of his activity... Mary most holy must have watched the sleep of Jesus many times... the Mystery of the Heart that was always watching.... Song of Songs 5:2 "I sleep, but my heart watches."  Yes, Jesus watches solicitously in souls that love, even though they feel that he has abandoned them.  Love does not abandon.  Jesus is there in the depth of the soul.  He seems to sleep because the soul does not hear his refreshing voice, because it does not enjoy his consolations.  But the Heart of Jesus is always watching with his inextinguishable love, with his incessant actions, and tender care more solicitous each day.

Yes, we experience this over and over on our journey.  In the storms Jesus is in control and His LOVE and Mercy are all around us... calming the storm!
Casting Crowns -  Praise Him in the Storm
 Joybeam!!!
"It was not enough for Him
that He should become one of ourselves
by adopting a human nature like our own.
It was not enough that He
should share the hardships of a life like our own—
that He should suffer and die
and atone for our sins, in our name.

He loved us,
and He would not rest until
He should be completely united to us.
And in His love
He devised this most extraordinary method of union,
in which He Himself becomes our food!
Truly a tremendous lover!"

Joy and her grandpa!  St Therese looks on from the wall thanks to my sister gifting me her for my birthday!  How we love The Church, the Saints, Our Lady, Mary the Mother of God, The wonderful gift of Jesus in Body, Blood and Word, and all the Sacraments of The Church!  Also the prayer without ceasing - the rosary of Mary holding us close to her Immaculate heart and taking our needs to Jesus!
More JOYbeams!!! The kids having a blast dancing to Baby Shark!
Uncle John leading them in a fun song with more and more craziness... LOVE!
"The final word is love." - Dorothy Day

Jesus, your love fills us with Joybeams that fill us with all the peace, love, joy and happiness we could ever ask for!  Sometimes we feel worried and anxious and left alone, but truly you are always there caring for us and helping us to be strong in the face of the storms of life!  If only we die to self and allow your Spirit to fill us... may we become more totally yours!  Your unconditional LOVE and Forgiveness are always there for us in the confessional if only we come to you and admit - "I have sinned against the Lord."  May we return that love and forgiveness to those the closest to us in our domestic Church/family.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
With my brother, Philip!  He said "yes" to a TEC retreat 20 years ago, which was a very strong tie between us - sharing our LOVE for Jesus after we experienced his unconditional forgiveness!  Prayers continue for my hard working brother!  United in Family and Faith!  Bless-bless, Barb

He burns with the desire to come into your heart... don' listen to the demon, laugh at him, and go without fear to receive the Jesus of peace and love... St. Thérèse of Lisieux EWTN.com'
LOVE this and St Therese!!!
The Prolife add that Fox won't show during the Superbowl!
So sad that LIFE does not have a voice if the liberals have anything to say about it, and they have a lot to say!  The Truth is that LIFE is to be cherished and protected from conception to natural death!

He is truly there on the altar during the mass, the monstrance during adoration, and in the tabernacle for a visit anytime!  He is REAL JESUS!
