Fall kittens/Soldier's Psalm 91 at a time of Spiritual warfare/Hear the Word of God and act on it!

Onward into this week still holding in my heart that our Rose was able to finally receive Jesus after such a crazy time in this world!  Her mother took this the day before, and how I hope and pray for Rose to recognize Jesus and long for Him in her life!

I oohhed and ahhed over these words this morning by Mother Elvira Petrozzi as she speaks about joining Jesus' Family- in regards to the Gospel today where Jesus says...“My mother and my brothers
are those who hear the word of God and act on it.”

Sitting before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, a new life begins.  Another birth takes place: eternal life within us!  We tell you all this from experience, for we contemplate these miracles each day.   Resurrection truly exists!  We experience it within us daily!  We do not see Jesus with our eyes, but rather in the transformation of our lives, where Jesus loves to be and desires that we experience his love.  Therefore, we see our own transformation day after day, through friendship, sharing our lives, working, playing, and suffering with him.  Jesus shows himself to us in our transformation.  This is the concrete experience of living before Jesus in the Eucharist!

Another special keepsake of Rose at a very important step in her Catholic Faith!  Consuming Jesus in his Body/The Bread of LIFE to give her strength for the journey each week for the rest of her days on this earth!

A friend sent dad a Soldier's Psalm 91 to use at a time of crisis and Spiritual Warfare... the story goes that the soldiers of the 91st Brigade recited it daily, and although they fought in 3 of the bloodiest battles in WW1 - not one soldier was lost!  "Plead God's shield daily in these evil times... Memorize it, meditate on it, and pray it out loud for your family."

Psalm 91

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.
Rose with the Easter candle from which her Baptismal candle was lit when she was a tiny baby 8 years ago!  Her parents and Godparents promised to share the Faith with her and so they have!  Every week they have brought Rose to mass as a family, they have her in the Catholic school, and in their home they share prayer and Jesus in Word.

When her older brother, David, had his first Communion 3 years ago... Fr Paul also did the baptism of Joy Jean in the midst of the 40+ who received Jesus in HIs Body and Blood!  His message, which he also preached as the homily.  You were all baptized and where have you been since?  Come to Jesus with your family!  He loves you and longs to have you as close beloved members of his family!  There is so much JOY to be found in His glorious Bride, The Church!
David's 1st  Communion day was also Joy's Baptism day in April 2018!  Come to Jesus!!!
Rose with her Godparents, who are strongly sharing the Faith with their Catholic Sprouts daily and now their project called, the Domestic Church project!

What JOY in our united LOVE for Jesus and His Bride, The Church!
Dad and I also share ALL the Truth of Jesus and Mary and The Church!  Gaining help with this Psalm 91 sharing!  We take one day at a time and with the help of hospice we are walking into the sunset of Dad's life!
8 years ago - John was in seminary and came home to dig for his dad during harvest!  So much has happened since!  One of the hardest recurring themes is his inability to keep a job for long!  We know that the Lord has a plan, and we ask for our prayer warriors to join us in our prayers for him!

John's video!
Big news at Ruth's home on the farm - fall kittens!  Joy just came for a bit and reported that there are 4 new kittens!  2 orange and 2 white!  "You are a lucky girl, Joy!" said her mom, who was a kitten lover when she was a  little girl, too!
Amazing 12 year old gardener, Therese!  She is amazing in so many ways!  She loved her time here helping with our huge canning jobs of soup and applesauce!
Joy loves to see her family on my wall!  Your mommy was my little girl!  Hard to understand, but love my family wall and our family sharing our Faith/Family/Farm!

Jesus, may we always long to be in your family of Faith!  How we love to be close to you with each new day.  The Best hour of my week is at 4a on Thursday morning when I sit at your feet in Adoration!  Well, there is also that hour on Sunday where you minister to me in Word, Body and Blood!  How I love you my Lord, may I die to self so that you live in me!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah

The new generation are coming closer to Jesus!  May we lift them up on prayer and LOVE and example!  Bless-bless, Barbara
