"God is with us" thanks to Mary!/Happy Birthday Mary, Mother of God! So many Marys in my life brings LIGHT and JOY!

A monumental miraculous task happened after mass and breakfast on Sunday!  The gathering of all our family and attempting to get a record in photos of this mountain moving together in Faith!  We started at the Mary statue with a random group... it just so happens that most all of the Marys in the family, who are celebrating a feast day today on Mary, the Mother of God's birthday were in that group gathered around her statue!

3rd daughter, Maria, her two daughters, Therese Marie and Evangeline Mary, Ruth's oldest, Mary Lanoue, and Bobbi Marie. In heaven we have my mother, Nancy Marie, and my sister, Mary Keickhoeffer!  The huge celebration is raising song to highest heaven!
Starting with Mary for these 3 grandsons!
The last time they were all together 14 months ago!  I had so hoped and prayed that we could get together as a family and then it happened just as summer was coming to an end!  Maria came with the help of her dad, and now she is returning over these next few days with many prayers surrounding her.

The 3 boys and Mary... she seemed to be special to them as they gazed at her and touched her.  They had been crying and upset here and there, but she brought them to a peaceful place!
"We love you Mary!  Happy birthday!"  from the 3 little boys!

Dad and I sharing morning prayer for Mary's birthday with a special display for her big day!

From the Gospel today Matthew 1:18-23

She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus,
because he will save his people from their sins.”
All this took place to fulfill
what the Lord had said through the prophet:

Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,

which means “God is with us.”

Thank you, Mary, for saying "yes" to bringing LIFE into the world!  The Gospel Canticle from morning prayer says it all!!!  "Your birth, O Virgin Mother of God, proclaims joy to the whole world, for from you arose the glorious Sun of Justice, Christ our God; he freed us from the age-old curse and filled us with holiness; he destroyed death and gave us eternal life."

The statue dad was gifted for his many years as Deacon at St Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Manistique, MI.

A sidenote - this shingle was from a stations of the Cross that mom made and put in the trees behind our cabin in Michigan.  My brother went there for a visit this summer and found this one for the 4th station - Jesus meet his mother.  So special to have that back now with dad and Our Lady and mother!
Now with mom's artwork on the wall of our beloved Michigan beach.  My view of heaven in my inner temple is very much the peace and joy I would find there each summer since I was a girl and then after my parents built a vacation/retirement home there in 1998!  How I miss going there!
Birdie found a doggy to chew on with the 2 birthday boys on the 15th.
The shop cleaned up for the Republican gathering tonight!
Some of the cleanup crew and we had our last meal together last night in the shop!
Blessing our food and the prayers continue for safety for Maria and her family!
Enjoying the fruits of our labors.  When they set up for tonight they were very surprised at the transformation.  Any other year we would have had a neighborhood party, too ,but not this year due to the situation in the world!
Joy and Jude eating together.
Tonight we will fill the place...
It was so fun to get to know you sweet Hector!  LOVE the potato mustache as a sign of liking our farm cooking.
Evangeline Mary celebrating on the road today.  She will be 4 on Nov 1st - All Saints Day!  She is one of the 3 little girls!
I guess this year is the 3 girls with licorice...
Last year in blue shirts and no licorice.
LOVE to have traditions, but the licorice just was not helpful this year.

Sigh...
Grandpa with the 4 little girls.
I guess we need sweets this year to celebrate Mary's birthday, right?
One more just because.
We had them here for 2 weeks of canning, visiting, playing, working and sharing with family and friends!
Ending the summer with crazy Farm Family Time Supreme!
Happy Birthday Mary
