"Valley of tears" at midnight/Maggie's waters of Baptism/My dad's prayers- first and middle name continues!

Glowing Maria with her 7th child, newly baptized Magdalene Rose, and one of her brothers at the entrance to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church outside of Rice Lake, WI on Saturday evening.  Reminding me of Madonna and child aglow with LOVE/LIFE/LIGHT!
The family and Godparents gather around this new member of The Church and making our domestic Church/family complete as embracing our Catholic Faith totally and completely!  I guess with #7 the many pictures do not happen in the rush...
Off to the celebration on the farm where Captain Joseph grew up.
"Magdalene Rose, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.  Amen."  Much to rejoice and celebrate indeed!
Big sister, Evangeline Mary, is so excited and happy for her baby sister on this big day in her life.  Now she is given all she needs to follow Jesus with the help of His Bride, The Church!

Roses from heaven
Getting buttoned by my sweet sister, Angela, who came to share in our family JOY and LOVE!
In the LIGHT of Christ, which she received as a candle lit from the Easter candle and which now dwells in her heart, and soul!

Much today in the readings about water - the parting of the Red Sea in Exodus14, and then about Jonah in the belly of the whale - "there is something greater than Jonah here" from Matthew 12.  We need to hold deeply in our inner temples how we are all washed clean from any sins or love of the flesh that separates us from the love of Jesus and his unconditional forgiveness and healing... so that we may stagger down the narrow path dragging our Most Cherished Cross with being forever with Jesus, Mary and all the saints as our goal!  A path for us through the waters that can drown us, and the humility of being swallowed up in order to say "Yes" to his plan for us.

Aunt Nancy, peaceful Maggie in her baptismal gown and white garment, and her Oma's glorious white holly hocks beckoned for some pictures in the LIGHT!
A stunning cake - and yummy too!  Maggie's big sister, Therese toiled over this cake with Baptismal waters flowing forth- waters of LIFE go forth to bring LIFE to ALL in our path as we carry forth His Truth to all we encounter and return the unconditional LOVE and forgiveness we are given by our Lord and Savior with the help of Our Lady!

2 year old Hector with a puppy...
Mom and Hector by the backdrop of a ripening oat field planted by the Amish behind their building site in Wisconsin.
Grandpa with his newest grandchild #20, Magdalene!  Our greatest JOY is sharing our Faith as a family!  Faith/Family/Farm!
My hero for LIFE and Family!  Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS for this world is so very important!

Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: Our marriage stories - "The world needs LIGHTS!"

And those cupcakes!  She and her Oma Librande were up til midnight making them, and they were wonderful in every way!
My brother, Dan, and his wonderful wife, Angela!  They share in our family times... they even came to France 3 years ago for Hallel's final vows!  Talk about making our JOY complete!

LOVE to see our JOY complete in France 3 years ago!  The 21 - the mountain that was moved in Faith of a mustard seed, and there were even 3 in the womb that went with us!  Ruth, Maria and Bobbi were pregnant with the 3 boys that are now here with us all just 6 weeks apart!

She was such a good girl for the day - peace and love and joy were her gifts to all the many that held her throughout the day!
White to frame the beautiful farm - their grass as so much more green and lush than ours with the drought!
Her Aunt Nancy has life in her womb also!  Magdalene will grow up with Birdie just a year older, and two cousins about 6 months younger... Ruth's little boy, and Nancy's baby a month younger than Ruth's.  Open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS!
These two are just 3 weeks apart in age, and learning to be friends/cousins that will grow up together in our domestic Church/family!
The Adoration chapel that was designed by Captain Joseph's father, David.
Grandpa and George spending a few minutes in prayer.
Her older brothers, Patrick and David, were very reverent altar boys that added great reverence to this Holy Sacrament for their new sister.
Godparents and parents sign her with the Cross - Yes, Maggie, we are asked to take up our Cross and follow Jesus!
Hector and grandpa...
A small humble bouquet from my garden for my mother on her birthday as we left for our weekend away!
I love you mom and miss you so very much!  Last year, the day after your birthday, we gathered in Taylors Falls - St Joseph Church for your mass of Christian burial with family still in the midst of the pandemic.  Dad rose to the occasion and traveled 4 hours to and back to be there and celebrate your life and path to heaven!

A boy and a puppy
So powerful in the middle of the night - John and my Adoration hours overlap - I come early and he stays over - 45 minutes in shared prayer and tears of JOY and gratitude for all our blessings, and for John his life spared from brain cancer!  When we closed with the "Hail Holy Queen" the words - "valley of tears" was where we found ourselves indeed!
The new John now with wife and 2 babies!  Amazing answers to his prayers continues!

In the Presence of Jesus through the intercession of Our Lady!  So powerful!!!
My litany of family from both of our sides - I added 2 new lives with Jesus in the Monstrance!  One from my side and one from Pat's - what JOY!
My nephew wrote this to me today after I had spoke about how on Monday dad and I would share the litany of family as dad would share first and middle names of his family of 140+!

Thanks Barbie!  We're very excited also and appreciate any and all prayers that you can spare.  I often think about hearing grandpa say all the first and middle names and often imagine him saying my little ones name for the first time!  I know he's still committing them to memory and constantly keeping them in his prayers and that's a great source of comfort and joy to me.   Thank you also for lifting up our little one in prayer and making sure they're entrusted to the care of Our Lord!

How the tears rolled as I too am so close to my dad in prayer!

A Michigan memory from 10 years ago - Nancy with baby Gus, and Therese... be still my heart!
A day brightener from John this morning to brighten my day and yours!  We all know that big strong farmer Pat loves his livestock almost to this point!
My father not only memorized first and middle names of his huge family and is doing so now in heaven... but he memorized special prayers and verses in the Word.  This prayer we shared each night after doing our Evening prayer together!  The blessings and memories are flowing all around me!  Dad continues to touch me with his wisdom as we share our love for Jesus and His Bride, The Church with no reservations!
This prayer of St Macrina today is what I long to pray at the end of my days.  I think mine will have to be in my own words - memorizing this is more than I can handle.
A new saint to me from dad's man, Brother Victor, this morning!
Mom and dad with me each day!  Their prayers from heaven are now more perfect and I love to see their intercession for their family - now a new life coming for a newly wed couple, who were concerned about their being able to have children.  Prayers answered!

Jesus, how we love you and thank you for all your blessings and unconditional love and forgiveness of we your unworthy servants.  May we die to self so that you may be our hands and feet.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Dan and Angela!  Cousin George joins the group... I am realizing how much it means to have those that put in the effort to join in our family occasions to the point of driving a distance or flying over the ocean!  Our JOY is increased a hundred fold to know that they share their time and LOVE with us!  Thank you!  Bless-bless, Barbara

Danielle Rose - The Memorare - John and I shared this prayer last night!  How we love Our Lady, and look to her without ceasing!

"I believe in the miracle performed each day in the holy Mass.
...  I desire to expand my love and to prepare myself for an ever more
fruitful reception of this inexhaustible source of miracles."Bl Michael Sopocko

"The effect of Holy Communion is the conversion and
increase of sanctifying grace and supernatural life to a degree
which is not attained by any other sacrament

As bodily food serves to build the physical side of man, so
the Blessed Sacrament revives, heals, protects, strengthens,
feeds and develops the supernatural life of the soul.

Here is effected the closest union with Christ, not only a spiritual
but also a physical union with such tangibility and perfection
that no closer union on earth is possible.  Moreover, this sacrament
imparts to us a special grace of devotion and of ardent love
from which comes happiness and bliss, peace and fortitude,
and boundless readiness for sacrifices for God and our neighbor."
