John's pitchfork tradition now #6/Live as children of light./Dad gone for 2 years

From John and Bobbi's Christmas tree - their original pitchfork picture taken in 2017 fall on a photo shoot around the farm yard for their engagement.  They have such a fun sense of humor, and have carried this down through the years - now #6!
They brought the pitchfork to include in their wedding pictures in 2018!
2019 - expecting Birdie and holding little Jude!
2020 the pandemic masks in front of the bales.
Last year with Jude with a hand hoe and the watertower behind their house in Central just a half a block from the Catholic School!  Bobbi's artwork on the cement!
The 5 of years past make special ornaments for their tree!
Flip side pictures are special!
LOVE this one on the back of 2020 - the 6 months my dad lived here with me in our farm monastery.  He was on hospice and died 2 years ago yesterday very peacefully a natural death!  He was here to meet Birdie and watch her grow for her first few months.  This was her Baptism day.

So special for me as my father - a Permanent Deacon in The Catholic Church for 44 years Baptized all 5 of our children!

The one chosen for 2022!

Too many smiles?  They are supposed to be stoic like the original painting...

American Gothic has set a fun tradition for John and Bobbi and growing family!

A new message of coming events in 2023...

Sunday was spent partially on the road to return some kids to Delano, and to bring some farm kids back home.  Grandma and Regina... we love to have the grandkids have cousin time together and we will make it possible at all costs!
Prayer with John at midnight - how we love to pray together for all the needs we have!
Brought along my Mother of Perpetual help.  She takes our huge family to Jesus - over 250+ when I do the litany of both our families - I had 2 new women to add for the first time that are now engaged to 2 of our nephews!  It grows with LOVE and LIFE and LIGHT!

I loved the final words from St Paul today to the Ephesians - For you were once darkness,
but now you are light in the Lord.
Live as children of light.   Ephesians 4
"No one can love Mary too much!  We can never love her more than Jesus does."  St Maximilian Kolbe

Dad today in his Prayer of The Church!  Dad sured loved what the Saint for today - St Anthony Mary Claret had to say!
Beautiful from Brother Victor today in his humble monastery in New York!
He speaks of the LIGHT that we are now as St Paul pointed out!

Tom is now here and helped grandpa eat his lunch - some of our last tomatoes for the year

What's coming Tom?
The Quad track coming in to get some work done on it, and Tom was so excited to see this sight!
Dad driving it in!
Grandma trying to capture the sight and th excited baby boy!
It barely fits, but they got it in and shut the door to work in the heated shop!
Dad and grandpa!
You are one lucky boy to have so much excitement in your life on the farm.  Now for prayers and vigilance to keep you safe!
He loves his doggy too.
At grandma's safe and sound.  I need to go - my day has flown by!  Bless-bless, Barbara and all
