John time watching the cows for heat...

Watching for heat became enjoyable when John and I went out to share some time in the afternoon partial sun and nice breeze to keep some of  the insects away.  John's special dog, Lilly, and one of Bertha's daughters were also there to keep us company as we visited and John treated me royally...
My throme was the water tank... where I cooled my feet and watched the cows.  John would climb the fence and go and check on the numbers of the cows that looked to be atively in heat, so that Pat can breed them tonight.  He learned how to AI - Articially inseminate while we were dating.

After spending a year getting John through brain cancer - we still enjoy our time together, and this was a very wonderful way to make a job into a pleasant time together!
