John took that to the road today - a prophet sharing The Truth that he half-heartedly asked for Faith and the Lord allowed him to have brain cancer to find it. More than he could handle? Yes! Why would he do that to us? So that we turn to Him, and realize that Jesus is in control in the midst of the storms of LIFE!
He spoke at the Springfield Music Festival and was the first of 3 speakers in the midst of wonderful Christian music. There was a theme throughout the 3 - Prayer is so important and yes, God does give us more than we can handle and that is so that we rely on Jesus to get us through.

Time after church with Ruth's family - Love that we have our daughter and her family to share our farm life with as well as Holy Redeemer. The kids go to the Catholic School that their mom, aunts, uncle, grandpa, great Aunts and Great Uncles went to... now that is a wonderful shared history of Faith/Family/Farm!
The matriarch of the Verly family is now 95.
Lots of shade and wind made this hot humid day a wonderful summer day to share our need for Jesus to face our Cross and follow after Him. Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
Two wonderful young friends singing their love for Jesus.
