A very good fair year is behind us

This pretty much shows just how tired we all are after 4 full days at the fair.  I can hear Pat's deep breathing of exhaustion coming from the bedroom.  He gives his all to make our county fair successful and a good experience for one and all!  I was lucky to have the great job of bringing Ruth's two youngest home for good naps most days and therefore grandma could put her feet up with her rosary in hand, too.  Not too many decades were completed until I awoke a while later I must admit.
I strolled over to the 4H building to get a few more looks and photos of the wonderful projects of the grandkids... most especially Mary's cat skeleton project.
 A special one for sure!
Those little claw bones just get me... Mary really had to do some excavating to find those tiny bones!
 Simon's dismantled motor parts.
 Mary's rocks and
 BUGS!
Her photo of Rose taken in Michigan along with these... it is always fun to do a photo shoot with the fair in mind!

Another great picture from our shoot in Michigan!
Some of Simon's blue ribbon pictures around Mary's... he loves texture!
Now we all need to catch up on our sleep, and have a huge tomato canning day ahead of us tomorrow!

Thank you, Lord, for the county fair in our lives, and sharing that as a family filled with fun and lots of hard long days.   It has been huge for us and will continue on into the distant future.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
