Mary's first year in 4H, and Simon's second. Both got a blue ribbon for their white faced calves. The judge said that he could tell they had worked long and hard on them. "Good work!"

Soon Rose will have her turn in a couple years with dad and mom at her side. She really likes the cows and calves after watching her parents and older siblings handle them.

We had a wonderful rain this year right during the beef show. We need the rain, so we worked around it.

After a natural shower from the rain - the cows, calves and bull on the pasture by the driveway after the beef show. One of these could be shown next year... They were a peaceful beautiful sight this morning.

Ruth is home getting her kids cleaned up and rested for the pig show bright and early in the morning. Busy fair days are tiring but fun and filled with memories that last a lifetime! Nancy with her 3 will be here on Sunday for the ribbon auction. She, too, loves the County Fair! Bless-bless, Barb
