A day's collage on the farm

Luke in the pumpkin patch with the golden corn field beside my garden...

Picking some for an arrangement - a lot more to get later.
Roger, Luke and pumpkins of many shapes and sizes!
Climbing the climbing tree all by himself!
Picking an apple - one of the few I have this year.  He ate the whole thing and Roger ate the seeds and stem - none of it went to waste!
A precious apple and so fresh - it was just growing on the tree seconds ago....so healthy on the farm!
Me and my shadow buddy for the day!
Luke in a tent from the sheets that I washed today... in a clothesbasket boat and dogs on either side.
He helped grandpa pick up these bales and there are many more today!

Picking up bales by Lake Marshall!  Did you know we had lake land?  A bald eagle flew by us as we were picking up bales and landed in a branch!
If you look in the center of this picture you will see the bald eagle sitting on a high branch.  Pat says that he sees them all the time out there swooping over the water looking for fish.

Grandpa and his cheerful helper!
 Clouds on clouds.
Picking up bales at naptime - Luke ended up sleeping with me.

Grandma and Luke drive the tractor home pulling bales...
Grandma is nervous so we sing songs to Jesus and Mary!
Luke claps for his love for Jesus!
and Mary.  That smile chases my fears away!
Luke gives grandma a hand for making it home in one piece!
Fun with my magic lens and Mary doing COL - Clothes off line!
 I love this one too!
I told Mary about how we used to do COL as a chore for her mom and mom's sisters...  Clothes on line and Clothes off line.  "They would complain too?"  "Yes, Mary."
Fun to have some help!  Thanks Mary!
She gets one of my precious apples for a reward for being a sweet and willing helper for grandma!
Grandpa gave her the job of setting the table for supper.  It was nice to have a nicely set table for our meal, and made it a little less chaotic.
 Thanks, Mary, once again!
The other female kitten came for the night - Snowwhite!
Simon performs a recital on the trombone in the front room after supper!
It was fun and we were impressed by how good he does for just playing for a few weeks!  Yeah, Simon!  Bless-bless, Barb/grandma on the farm
A short movie to share the JOY!
