"Just love Jesus and everything will be alright." mom/Ascend the mountain of the Lord?

Precious feet of my grandchild/John and Bobbi's 20 week old baby!  LOVE these precious perfect little feet form their ultrasound the other day where all was well.   Thank you, Jesus, for LIFE!
When I was in KC last weekend Bernadette made these troll pictures for me and they are bringing a brightness to my days which is needed with my new knee just 5 days old!

I have been moving around more today and I see that this is how to get limbered up and start to make progress.  I am now a patient with Prairie Home Care and Hospice where I worked for years and have a young nurse, who I know and love from church!  Such a special blessing for me when I count each one that comes my way to help me down the narrow path!
I am so grateful that I can be inside looking out these cold days!  To have the nurse come to me and get my blood work done a huge relief!

Something in the readings today that really made me smile was from the Psalm....
Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD?
or who may stand in his holy place?
He whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean,
who desires not what is vain.
R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.
Psalm 24

I admit with my knee the thought of ascending a mountain seems impossible to consider, but if I work on fighting the darkness of sin and death, and is humble and gives without counting the cost... I think i can!
My view from the couch of Our Lady in the branches with the late setting sun and a dusting of snow.

My rosary is calling out to me and so I will call this good for today.  I just wanted to share that I got to chat with my Catholic Surgeon doctor this morning and mentioned the first reading from mass last weekend which we had just discussed Saturday morning when he came in to discharge me from the hospital.  "When I heard that I thought of you." he said.  How wonderful to be able to share my faith stories with my doctor and now my nurse from Homecare.  We were praying together to st Rita while she was poking my finger.  LOVE!
My mother's prayer space with the bird leaf I found while visiting them almost a month ago now.

A great call from my sweet parents moments ago to check up on me.  Mom ended it with this statement of love..."Just love Jesus and everything will be alright."  Yes, that is the key to putting one foot in front of the other at times like this and before you know it you will have ascended the Mountain of the Lord!   Jesus in the Gospel today...
And the Apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."
The Lord replied, "If you have faith the size of a mustard seed,
you would say to this mulberry tree,
'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it would obey you."

Lord, I am yours, I need you and I love you with all that I have.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah and Bless-bless, Barb

Happy Feast day.  St Josaphat pray for us
The orange one is Josaphat/we call him fatty for short... we found him on this day as a deserted kitten in the hay a few years back on this day.  He is devoted to me as is our new kitten, cookie.
