"The LORD raises up those who were bowed down;" Psalm 146 Hallelujah! the Kingdom of God is among you." Luke 17

Nancy's family with Hallel a couple weeks ago at the blessing of the Little Brothers' Monastery, LIGHT of Mary, Mother of God!  I just tried to call Hallel and left a message.  I am sure they are wanting an update of me, and I am wondering how Hallel's knee is, too.
The lovely joyful virgin with her lamp lit awaiting her Bridegroom... the Gospel comes to life in France in August for Hallel's final vows - "I promise unto death!"
Hallel and the sunflower... we stood on the hillside and watched her total JOY and LOVE for her spouse, Jesus Christ!  Ruth captured her with her beautiful camera...

I could barely believe that the mountain had come to France to share with their own eyes, hearts, minds and spirits the beauty that is the life of poverty, chastity, and obedience of Hallel's Community of the Lamb!
So rare to get the siblings together!  Nancy lives in KC close to Hallel these past 2 years, Maria is living near Seattle, WA, and Ruth and John here in Marshall, MN!  It had been a year and a half since the 5 last were together when Hallel came home to the farm for the first time in 4 years!

I have Hallel with me so much on this journey!  She has been suffering with her right knee for some months now and recently discovered that she has a torn cartilage in her knee also!  Her knee is swollen and painful and makes kneeling not possible as well as limits her walking for long up and down distances which is the case in Saint Pierre.
In Rome after Hallel's vows - Maria and Ruth with their families had the experience of a lifetime!  LOVE this picture so much!
This one even more!!!  Ruth and Paul on their way in the rain in Rome to have their wedding blessed by St JPII a few days after their wedding in November 2003.
"Bless us with a happy healthy family."  Paul is asking of St JPII at the Wednesday audience...
The answer to their prayers!  They teach me the way to LOVE... give at all times life-giving love and service without counting the cost!

I really got sidetracked but in a good way!  Jesus to us today in the Gospel;
"The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed,
and no one will announce, 'Look, here it is,' or, 'There it is.'
For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you."

How I see this reflected in our kids sharing their faith with JOY in their domestic Church/family!  Each day I thank the Lord that we share our faith as a family... there is nothing more wonderful and is what gives us the ability to make our marriages and families work in this crazy mixed up world!
The newly blessed chapel of the LIGHT of Mary, the Mother of God in inner KC!

The Kingdom in picture form of that inner chapel within us where we worship and adore our Lord with the help of Mary, his devoted mother of heaven and earth and all the amazing Saints - today St Albert the Great!
Lifting up prayers to Our Lady at this new grotto devoted for healing and bringing us to her Son!

Jesus, I love you with my all!!!  I am lifted up from being bowed down with this physical pain and struggle I must endure to get to a better place to give my all without counting the cost!  "The Lord raises up those who are bowed down."  you promised us today in the Hallel Psalm 146.  I know and trust in this above all else and thank you with all that I have within me.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Talk about precious feet - John and Bobbi's little one gives me so much delight!  All life is a gift and must be cherished and protected from conception to natural death!  Hear our heartfelt prayers, O Lord!  Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke
