I didn't realize that the vigil of the conversion of St Paul was last evening until I read the readings at bedtime for the next day. How I love the working of the Holy Spirit in St Paul making him the voice of Christ for us in his many Letters to the Churches he started as he did a total 360 from persecuting The Church to being a slave for Christ, an instrument to help others experience the one Savior! We celebrated unknowingly with cake! The Spirit continues to work in our lives!
We love you St Paul and the powerful message of knowing and loving and sharing the LIGHT if only we ask to be guided to the Truth!
Making it a work of art with sprinkles!
Luke already ate his and said it was very good! Another piece when mom gets here to pick him up.
My day has been a full one with Joy joining me this morning and running errands after praying for an hour in church in front of the peaceful lightfilled tabernacle praying for Fr Denny/Seven Sisters.
Joy and the kitty in the sunlight this morning. Softness in picture form.
Taking a walk together.
Watercoloring is the best, and my JOY candle sticks from Christmas are very fitting for a picture of Joy painting a picture for mommy..
Sunbathing kitty cat and Joy.
Peaceful prayerful hour in front of the glowing tabernacle... praying for my priest, and listening to the Holy Spirit prompting me... John is putting in a bid to be part of National Catholic Youth Conference and wanting a title for his ministry resulting from his finding faith through brain cancer.

Considering that Mustard Seed brings to mind Faith and humility and smallness both of which apply to John.
I arrived home to find this amazing note from Hallel and her Community of The Lamb!
The sign of the mustard seed is given to us to start this new year: "The seed's weakness is its strength, its breaking open its power!" This is indeed the mystery of the coming of Christ in our flesh. He comes to save us , to dwell in our poverty, to encounter us in our vulnerability. Let us together contemplate the child Jesus in his littleness.
In the light of his Face, we ask upon you all the blessings of the Gospel.
With our prayers and gratitude,
Your Little Sisters of the Lamb

Licking the mixers make baking complete... so blessed to have little ones still!
The American Little Sisters and Postulants in front of the Grotto of the Nativity in Kansas City! Love to have Hallel this close! Thank you, Jesus! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah!

St Paul fills me with JOY!
Bless-bless, Barb
