A month late planting with the crew! "I have conquered the world!" Jesus/John and Bobbi's 1st anniversary

Jude and George sharing mass yesterday for the 7th Sunday of Easter!  Also John and Bobbi's 1st anniversary!
Such a glorious picture of them for their one year of marriage!  2 month old Jude makes their love that much bigger, and all of ours too!
Bobbi got up at 5:30a to make her egg bake for all of us before mass and then she served us with a smile on our special breakfast following mass on Ruth's porch on a beautiful day!  Thank you for sharing your JOY and celebration!
Dave lighting the candles on Ruth's beautiful table with the green pastures in the background... a small slice of heaven this time of year with cool breezes and no bugs... LOVE!
We love our special family times of sharing mass and breakfast on Ruth's stunning porch.
A rose bush to plant and bloom year after year as their marriage will flourish!

Such a beautiful spot with pretty Ruth and her 2 year old Joy.
More of the rolling pasture backdrop.  Today the fields are dry enough for planting to begin!
Mary's taxidermy squirrel is curious to Berna and Josephine!
Ruth running the tiller with helpers...
Digging with dust flying about a month late due to rain, rain, and more rain!  Lord, help the farmers with many warm dry days!
Paul digging...
Seeds going in with lots of prayers and hopes!
The tire rolling brigade... many hands make the job go quickly!
Joy watering tomatoes... they all got a very good drink!
Berna and Joy filling up their water cups.
Lots of water in the hot sun.

The day has escaped me but it is wonderful to have my garden dug and planted in a matter of a few hours!  Both daughters and their of 10 kids made it a fun and quick job.  Grandma thanks you from the bottom of her heart!
Joy and JoJo were the water girls.

The Gospel today has Jesus assuring us of his being in control of this crazy world we find all around us!
"...But I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.
In the world you will have trouble,
but take courage, I have conquered the world." John 16

How reassuring is this?  It seems like this culture of death is spiraling out of control and we are criticized and put down for having moral and values and standing up for the Truth.  Have no fear... take courage!  Jesus has conquered the world!
Watering grandma shadow and the tomato plant.  It was fun to have the kids help put them in the ground and now watch them grow, pick the tomatoes and help can for 7 families!
Each of the grandkids planted some sunflower seeds to watch grow by the barn!  LOVE!
Thanks to Nancy and the kids... COL... Clothes  on line as Nancy would help me to when she was a kid, too!  Grandma is tired!

Jesus, thank you for the sunshine around us and in this world as Your Sonshine is casting out the darkness of sin and death!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
