The three boys are rolling now... Jude beat them all and he is the youngest!
Our 7 granddaughters... we had a group of girls last. Now a wave of boys!
My day is escaping me and now with the sun out we are heading for an afternoon at Camden State Park where my kids spent most summer days swimming.
The girls get silly.
From 14 to three boys that are around 3-4 months...
We have 11 grandsons! So different after having 4 girls and then John!
Michigan family vacations have come up when we are together like this. These were the weeks over the 4th of July that we would get away for prime heavenly family time! This seems so reminiscent of our times at the lake with the huge family meals requiring washing dishes after every meal and the kids playing and playing and playing together!
Another familiar part of Michigan was to read the Gospel for today about building your house on rock and not sand!
"Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them
will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
And everyone who listens to these words of mine
but does not act on them
will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
The rain fell, the floods came,
and the winds blew and buffeted the house.
And it collapsed and was completely ruined."
