Not too sure of old grandma taking her pictures - Joy comforts him and gets a smile.
3 years ago - baby George on top of his 4 younger siblings - now they have a new one on top - Regina Maria, who is 2 months old!
I just got a call from the Little Brothers in Kansas City! This trip gets more and more fun! They asked for us to bring them 3 hens as they just lost 2 in the cold weather. We will bring them a couple of the young ones that were chicks last spring. They just started laying again, so we also have 3 dozen eggs to bring along for the Little Sisters and Little Brothers! Our vehicle is filling up with a big variety of needs for our Community of the Lamb! It just shows us how much we are family for sure!
Oh my!!!! LOVE to see us all in Saint Pierre, France in August of 2018! I am getting some pictures here that I can share with other parents of our amazing journey staring 9-11-2008 when Hallel got on a plane to fly to France and join the order! The 21 that surrounded Hallel with our love and support for her final vows in Saint Pierre! My brother, Dan and wife, Angela, joined us. My brother, Al, was also there but missed the picture. Also there were 3 in the womb in France! Nancy's George, Maria's Hector, and Bobbi's Jude! 25 together for Little Sister Hallel - "I promise unto death." Hallel and the Lamb signifying that she is fully professed as a Bride of Christ - "Wounded, I will never cease to love." the motto they live by!
The feast after her final vows with 2 of her sisters in France!!!
Beautfiul in every way!!!
Lourdes on Bobbi's 30th birthday!
Aglow after mass and adoration in the Trinity Cathedral
The parents receive the outer ring with the words - "Wounded, I will never cease to love." in hubby's huge hard working hands!
Eating in the trees at the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains!Sitting at the foot of the Cross on the hillside of the Green Cathedral for Hallel's final vows - all in French for 2 hours and then we heard in English as she knelt by Little Sister Marie - "I promise unto death." Tears leapt to my eyes!
Arriving in France for Hallel's taking of her habit and changing her name in the midst of John's brain cancer...Vigil of the Queenshop of Mary - August 21, 1009
Little Sister Hallel - from Hallelujah - "when they say my name they are giving God all the praise!"
After Hallel's 13 years with The Community - I could go on and on. I must hold back and remind myself that I want to listen to the other parents and not rattle on about so very much! I am over the moon excited to gather this weekend! We head out at 8a tomorrow with a stop in Sioux Falls on the way.
Years ago in KC - Simon under her scapular - the color of the sky and the shape of the Cross
14 of the now 22 - Maria's were missing and we have added 3 since then.
Joy finding the comfort of the scapular as others have before her. Hallel has yet to meet her new baby brother, as well as Maria's Maggie and Nancy's Regina.
